Four employees worked together as each have their area of expertise in a new restaurant concept in Montreal. Moteur  pizzeria (engine in French)opened this week and here is a bit of what it looks like...

Among the employees, we first find the Pizzaoille restaurants founder Daniel Noiseux. He is also the developer of the Muvbox concept, a shipping container that converts in seconds into a restaurant, a boutique or a showroom.

Noiseux is a long time mechanical and antique cars passionate and he wanted to change the concept at his Outremont restaurant. He focused his development idea on cars lovers, mechanics, beer lovers, design and of course food.

What is the centerpiece of this already seen concept, but get out of the ordinary with this piece? An aircraft engine manufactured in the 40s by Pratt & Whitney, which Noiseux has purchased recently.

His son William, an industrial designer, has had to imagine a scene from this piece of 800 pounds. A finally hung it from the ceiling like a chandelier crystal in the largest ballrooms you have ever seen.

Thereafter, another associate arrived, Alexander Péloquin, big fan of beers. His goal: to showcase Quebec beers, especially those from four microbreweries: Trou du Diable, Les Trois Mousquetaires, Dieu du Ciel and Brasseurs du monde.

Finally, the chef Yannick Chaput is in charge of the oldest wood-fired oven in Montreal. His friendly and family menu is featuring Quebec products.
