Terroir - Wine bars and company: the place to warm up in the snow

Terroir - Wine bars and company: the place to warm up in the snow

Quebec City, Wednesday, January 18, 2023 – Winter does not mean closing the terraces for everyone: the Terroir bar, nestled in the hollow of the Quartier Petit Champlain, opens its sublime snow-covered terrace to passers-by and tourists, like an oasis of comfort in the heart of Winter. Cheese fondue, garlic snails, layered charcuterie platters, flat bread of the day, various hot drinks, wines from all regions and beers from Quebec microbreweries are offered from lunch to dinner, including aperitifs, Thursday to Monday. This is not to mention the huge selection of gins, the majority of which are designed in the province, being put forward throughout the month of January on the occasion of Ginuary, a major event at the bar.

WINTER TERRACE
A fire, Adirondack chairs, blankets and of course a little magic snow, are part of the formula that awakens the outside of the bar in the middle of the cold season. Terroir offers its customers the opportunity to enjoy the joys of winter, a delicious mulled wine or alcoholic coffee by hand, such as Quebec coffee with maple whiskey and whipped cream; a little local delight! This comforting terrace will please passers-by until April 15, 2023.

GINUARY
Through its selection of some fifty gins from around the world, the majority of which come from Quebec, Terroir offers personalized tastings of the spirits, where each gin is offered in harmony with a refined tonic and accompanied with the herbs of the choice of the customer: citrus peels, spices, herbs and others. As the 28-day alcohol-free challenge approaches, Terroir is also offering, in January, to encourage spirits artisans by offering gin and tonics at a 50% discount following the first glass, on the complete gin collection. Terroir becomes the exceptional gin bar for the month of January!

TERROIR WINE BAR AND COMPANY
Opened in 2019 by the owners of the famous Avenue Cartier, the Petits Creux, this second address, Terroir aims to be a gourmet and relaxed bar. Located in the charming and bucolic Quartier Petit Champlain, at the foot of the Château Frontenac and having a storefront in front of the River, on Boulevard Champlain, the small, welcoming place offers a daring wine selection, Quebec microbrewery beers and an impressive collection of gins. . Moreover, the place, which offers small dishes to share all year round, offers a selection of seasonal dishes that please and perfectly accompany the aperitif.
