From September 11 to 24, 2018, pizza and its creators are celebrated on a grand scale. PIZZAFEST 2018 is back and will be held throughout the greater Montreal area to discover the best pizzas and pizzaiolos from here. This year, more than forty pizzerias have already confirmed their participation in the event and several others will be announced soon.
During PIZZAFEST 2018, people will be invited to discover their neighborhood and explore the city, one pizza at a time. Pizzas specially prepared for the event will be featured and ready to be tasted. Participants will also be invited to share their discoveries and explorations on social media using the word-clique #PIZZAFESTMTL
As for participating restaurants, the contest for the best pizza is launched !!! A team of pizza connoisseurs will visit and taste the creations in order to award some mentions and especially to select the FIVE best pizzas in order to pass in the ultimate final !!!
A PIZZAFEST with ANTHONY FALCO !!! The famous pizzaiolo that has proven itself among others at the renowned Roberta's in New York, will make a saucette at home in September to judge the five finalists of the three official categories of the contest is:
Neapolitan Pizza - Al Taglio - Delivery Pizza.
In order to make the most of the event and to ensure the visibility of each participating pizzeria, interested customers will be invited to purchase the official passport of the PIZZAFEST 2018 by restaurant and thus get the chance to win a trip for two to Naples in Italy.
