After the Neapolitan pizza, make way for the Roman pizza! Morso Pizzeria & Alimentari opens this Friday, April 7 the doors of its 3rd counter-boutique in the provinces, this time in the national capital on the effervescent 3rd Avenue! A gourmet pleasure still little known in North America, Roman pizza, a specialty at Morso, comes in a fine selection developed by Mirko d'Agata, renowned chef and world champion, accompanied by his culinary team.

Little sister of Pizzéria NO.900, the new destination offers an experience as enticing as it is original, where freshness, creativity, abundance and simplicity overlap. More than a friendly gathering place, Morso Pizzeria & Alimentari will also become a must in Limoilou to stock up on fine Quebec and Italian products, including many carefully selected and renewed wine favourites.

ROMAN PIZZA: A WELL-KEPT ITALIAN SECRET

An Italian specialty bursting with flavour, the Morso Roman pizza is first and foremost a journey for the senses. Known for its long, rectangular shape and light, crispy crust, the Romaine pizza surprises with every bite (and is just as good to eat reheated the next day!). Perfect to accompany festive aperitifs, a romantic picnic or simply to add a crunchy touch to your day, the Roman pizza is perfect for any occasion! Mirko d'Agata's well-guarded recipes, concocted from carefully chosen fresh ingredients, are displayed on the menu in a vast choice of pizzas (as visually appealing as for the palate!), from the classic Margherita & Stracciata di Burrata to the popular Zucchine & Ricotta, passing by the world champion Pancetta Coppota & Grilled Hazelnuts.

The Morso concept would not be complete without the Alimentari product line. Its mission is simple: to introduce Quebec tables to an exclusive selection of superior quality products, all from sustainable production and essential to the success of a simple and tasty cuisine. Carefully chosen from producers and artisans from the north to the south of Italy and all over Quebec, these products are aimed as much at chefs and their brigades as at home cooks. Box of tomatoes from the Puglia region, apricot spread from Vesuvius, Peranzana olive oil, Rossa Di Tropea onion antipasti, to name a few, are all part of the gourmet range offered by Morso Pizzeria & Eating.
