Let's start with the fast food chain A&W which shot a new advertising campaign this summer with residents of La Tuque ... a municipality where there is no branch of this chain!
With Latuquois not having easy access to these burgers despite being popular across North America, designers were more likely to come across guests who had never eaten them.
A&W advertisements are well known: actor Michel Olivier Girard walks the streets and gives people a taste of the burgers. They then go there with their comments. Everything is in spontaneity. People don't have to memorize any text, they just have to say what they think about the burger they just tasted!
Canteens
The labor shortage does not seem to be slowing the ardor of the most spirited and young entrepreneurs. The newspaper La Presse recently made us discover the wind of youth which has been blowing in Quebec canteens since the pandemic.
Thanks to the involvement of these young people, the canteens have now become modern, eco-responsible and prioritizing local purchases.
To the menu, we have added microbrewery beers, local ready-to-drink, and even champagne for certain special occasions!
Even the decorations are now up to date and the menus are available in digital version.
Social networks also play an important role in the popularity of these canteens. Their Facebook and Instagram pages are full of various publications and it is now "cool" to take a picture of yourself in front of the store with the freshly ordered dish.
The enthusiasm generated by this breath of fresh air in the canteens is somewhat hampered by the lack of manpower. Thus, opening hours are sometimes reduced due to a lack of personnel.

Lulu Bistro-Lounge
Speaking of novelty, Lulu Bistro-Lounge opened its doors a few weeks ago in Beauport. You will find a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, alcoholic beverages and a cozy atmosphere worthy of the most famous bistro-lounges.
You can enjoy lunches for gourmets, fine pizzas, tartars or poke bowls. Accompanied by a cocktail from their large menu.
The owners of the Lulu are also the same as the Délices du Parvis restaurant, which is located in the Saint-Roch district of Quebec.
