Fast delivery: the road of snacks and gourmets at Nuits d’Afrique

Summer often rhymes with "roadtrip" and therefore a meal on the go between two destinations. We offer you a list of snack bars to visit during your vacation. Also, you will find an overview of the new culinary component at the Nuits d’Afrique festival.
First, here are the choices of the gourmet column Tommy Dion as published in the pages of the Journal de Montréal:
In Saint-Liboire, the Cantine Dave&Dan offers typical dishes with a creative touch, such as country poutine.
In Charlevoix, Chez Chantal is a retro institution offering poutines, burgers and ice cream in front of a view of the St. Lawrence River.
The Casse-Croûte Chez Micheline in Quebec City is renowned for its burgers and its disheveled poutine.
Le Flashbourg near Lac-Saint-Charles is a must for fries lovers.
La Cantine Pollens et Nectars is distinguished by its luxury menu featuring honey.
On Île Verte, the Comptoir Gourmand offers scrumptious dishes and original culinary creations.
Finally, the Cantine Sainte-Flavie between Rimouski and Matane delights seafood lovers with its dishes based on lobster, crab and shrimp.
Then, the famous Bob le Chef also revealed his preferences:
Le P'tit glouton chez Lulu is a seasonal village fries shack, known for its spaghetti sauce and Italian poutine. Located in Duparquet.
At the Maski snack bar on route 138, crispy fries and pizzas are the specialties recommended by Bob le Chef.
Snack Bar Saint-Jean is an urban canteen popular for its burgers and fries, located on Quebec City's bustling Saint-Jean Street.
The Coastal Canteen of Colombe St-Pierre, moved to Saint-Fabien, offers gourmet dishes inspired by canteen classics with quality local ingredients.
Chez Simon urban canteen in Montreal offers excellent smash burgers and reflects the flavors of the southern United States thanks to the owner, a BBQ lover.
Montreal's Gibeau Orange Julep, known for its orange drink, also offers delicious poutines, hot dogs and burgers.
Le P'tit St-Do in Jonquière represents the typical Quebec snack bar with courteous service and a poutine considered the best in Quebec according to Bob le Chef.
Finally, the Nuits d'Afrique festival is innovating for its edition, which runs until July 23, by creating the new Promenade des Saveurs with dishes from Africa, the West Indies and Latin America. Festival-goers will be able to discover exotic dishes from various restaurants such as Boom J's, Saveur soleil, Les Délices de l'île Maurice, Yasolo and Au coin berbère. All restaurants must offer at least one vegetarian dish for the event. The Promenade des Saveurs will be held from July 18 to 23 on the lawn of the Quartier des Spectacles.
