Fast delivery: a birthday, a huge tuna and the vaccine passport

Fast delivery: a birthday, a huge tuna and the vaccine passport

It's time to celebrate a new edition of Quick Delivery by wishing a happy tenth birthday at Bistro B, joining the good cause that a 320 kg tuna will share and discussing the vaccine passport again.
Let's start with Bistro B, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary in Quebec. Located in Montcalm and launched by chef François Blais, this trendy, open-concept neighborhood bistro is designed to bring people together. People sit directly at the counter and can watch the cooks at work. Every day, a menu is composed according to the foods found in the restaurant's refrigerators, quite simply.
In fact, the emphasis is on local products. Each product is fresh daily and collected by the chef himself who will then prepare his daily specials.
Good continuity!
Then, a huge 320 kg tuna caught in the Gaspé has arrived in Sherbrooke in recent days and will be separated into ten parts and distributed to ten restaurants in the city for the benefit of the Justin Lefebvre Foundation.
The goal is to raise between $ 2,000 and $ 4,000 for the benefit of the Foundation, which focuses on organ donation.
Most of the participating restaurants will offer it as a tartare because it has of course arrived in town in optimal freshness conditions.
Finally, we must advise you to be careful before going to the restaurant during the next few days so as not to have a bad surprise. This is because, because of the obligation to present their vaccination passport during a visit to the dining room of a restaurant since September 1, restaurant owners have instead chosen to close their dining room instead of "Control" their customers.
These restaurateurs have decided to offer only the delivery or take-out service. In these cases, verification of the vaccination passport is not necessary.
Already in shortage of employees, managers have decided not to add an additional task to their current employees, that of managing the vaccination passport.
