A dinner "by the sea" at Pilsen-Pub

We started our meal with a little joke from the waiter at Pilsen Pub North Hatley located in the Eastern Townships. That day, because of the bad weather and as we arrived a little late, there was plenty of room to settle. The waiter then offered us to sit at a table near the window "overlooking the sea." Sea was none other than Massawippi river on which the restaurant has a stunning view. The setting is very nice. We were there on a bad weather day, so I imagine that this place is even more enjoyable under the sun!

The card offers mussels and fish, pasta, sandwiches and burgers, meat and salads. A fairly wide range. In the evening, Pilsen also welcomes us with a menu cooked by chef Raphael.

We chose a braised deer panini with chips and salad. We were not hungry enough for dessert, although the cheesecake tempted me a lot. We finished the meal with a Pilsen coffee made with Amarula, Tia Maria and Grand Marnier. The drink was a little disappointing compared to the meal which was, meanwhile, very tasty.

In Pilsen Pub, as its name suggests, the beer selection is great. For lovers of beers from all countries, this is the place to come. The place mixes both the traditional look of the restaurant and the pub more festive appearance. This, in an authentic atmosphere that seems to appeal to all generations.

I found out that a special Valentine's Day menu was being prepared. On the menu: grilled scallop with vanilla and green apple, lobster risotto, layered duck confit, warm goat cheese with ginger and honey, sugar pie and so on... For lovers of the seaside and all simply lovers, the evening is all found!
