Located 45 minutes north -east of Sherbrooke, Marbleton is part of the association of the most beautiful villages of Quebec. The maple grove is located near the lake that bears its name well as reflections are surprisingly and changing color with the seasons.
The menu is classic: pea soup , baked beans , ham, eggs poached in syrup (my favorite), rinds, pickles, pancakes, donuts and maple taffy on snow after a meal. Before going there, we were afraid of the mountain of calories that awaited us and we fear to be slow after such a meal. None of this has happened because the products are homemade and great quality. We can order only what we want, avoiding the effect of "I ate too much, I have to take a nap !" The end of the meal was amazing, the children participate with great interest and look in wonder, syrup stick to the palette.
A guided tour of the maple grove is possible after the meal and the place, between lake and forest, is superb. Enjoy the spring!
