Fantastic experience! The location is great, very aesthetic and the outer seating is perfect for taking in the beauty of the city while enjoying a pleasant bite (or two!). The staff is amazing, my server - Jo was very friendly and the service was also 5/5. Delicious food and great wine selection, they have a great vegetarian selection too. Do visit if it’s your first (or 100th) time in Old Montreal 😄😄

My husband and I are here on business and we have found the perfect place for a quality meal, with amazing service. Our restaurant server Monosh was lovely, professional and fast with bringing out our courses. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food went beyond our expectations and we would definitely recommend Vieux Port. We hope to be back again.

We arrived at 5:45pm. Got seated and had our drinks ordered. Everything from start to finish was terribly long to get to our table. The waiter admitted that when placing our orders misplaced the orders and submitted it to the wrong kitchen. We were a group of 6, ordering large dollar figure items off the menu and our food took 2 hours to arrive at our table. The really crushing part was that a table of 16 was seated next to us and they got served everything in advance of us. The staff seem to have no idea what they are doing, standing around and trying to read the food receipts figuring out which Table the food goes to plus trying to figure out who the food goes to at that perspective table. We ordered lobster and steak, only received steak. The plate looked like it was out together by a 12 year old with two carrots and two broccoli laid on plate and a steak just slid on straight from the grill. The plate presentation for such a prestigious restaurant was atrocious. Overall wouldn’t recommended this restaurant. The kid filling water glasses did a great job. Other than that the ball was dropped in every aspect. As a business owner, If I owned this resident I would be embarrassed of the level and of service and presentation. Clearly not well run and management either doesn’t care or just doesnt know how to manage.
