Beware if you're a tourist, they will charge the tips on the wrong amount - which is illegal. I've confronted them about this practice and they blamed their software. Their only solution they offered was a refund of the additional $ I paid on the tips. I shall not go back.

First time in Canada let alone at this location. They did an amazing job with everything. From appetizer to entree to drinks - all delicious! Our waitress Lydia was so lovely and attentive. She gave us space but still checked in on us. Her service alone is a reason to go back. The location is great. The vibe was great for a date night. I highly recommend.

The ambiance was really nice and the service was attentive and professional. The food was good overall — the steak was well cooked and flavorful, and you can tell the kitchen knows what it’s doing. However, I’m removing one star because I was disappointed to be charged an extra $4 for the sauce that should normally accompany a steak — especially when the platter already costs $90. For a well-reputed restaurant at this price point, small details like this matter. It’s not about the $4 itself, but about the principle and the overall experience. Overall, it was a pleasant evening, but I expected a little more inclusiveness and attention to detail for that level of pricing.

My valentines dinner was ruined!! Searched up best restaurants in montreal and came across this place. I came with my boyfriend really excited to go out to dinner and just ended up being so disappointed and grossed out!!!! We originally had a reservation at 9pm and we were early and they kindly let us come in earlier which was great. The host had messed up the seating of the people infront of us and kept us waiting. The manager came down looking quite angry but wtv. We get seated at a table with dirty classes with hand prints all over them. We let the water boy know and he immediately took them away and apologized and came back with water and new glasses only for my water to have a bug in it. A bug!!!! Nasty nasty. It took 40 minutes+ for us to get service but we ordered right away when our server came to see us. I ordered a glass of wine. My wine came with food on the INSIDE of the glass. Once again, absolutely disgusting and grossed me out!!! We waited for our server to come back and it took her forever so when i saw the manager, I let him know and he said he would take care of it and he never came back. Server came to see the table beside us and i finally got her attention. She replaced it rapidly. We got the valentines meal, and no joke, the only good thing about my meal was the caesar salad aka a tiny bowl of salad that came as an appetizer. Lobster linguine was my main, every bite i took had shell of lobster in it. I kept spitting out the chunks of shell I was eating and it was so embarrassing to have to spit into a napkin. My portion vs my boyfriend’s portion of food was insane. I had so much more food on my plate than him. As for my dessert, cheesecake. “I thought oh good something i can enjoy”. It was so dry and the berries were no good. The kitchen clearly had no care in making anything that night and was rushing everything out the kitchen. Mind you we ordered before the table beside us and they got their food before us😐 We payed around 200$ overall for a horrible dinner. I absolutely want a refund on everything we had. Listen, I know valentines night are busy and the fact that it was a Saturday did not help. I, myself, work in the service industry and i understand but what i don’t understand is how you have no care for anything that comes out of the kitchen, the fact that you don’t polish your wine glasses and check if glasses are clean before they go out and why your customer service is so poor. Because of that, the servers tip was impacted. Anyways, do better next time!!

In Montreal for Valentine's weekend and searched up the best steak house in town. Saw the great reviews so gave it a shot and booked a table. The menu shows that the price point was around $80-$100/ person so standards were definitely raised before dinner date. Booked a dinner date at 9:15pm then had to wait 15 mins in line in the freezing cold before we were able to get in. What's the point of having a reservation? Ordered NY Stiploin, Lamb chops medium cooked, both came out very chewy and poor meat quality. Most likely force-thawed. Calamares was like bubble gum. I don't know if its me or what, but at certain price points, we have expectations and tonight was definitely a disappointing Valentine's Day.

The place is incredible it has a great atmosphere and glamorous style. My partner and i went for san valentines and we up to order the special menu we thought it was a little overpriced for what the food was and you had to pay extra for other stuff in the same menu. The thing that we did not like at all is that even if we had a reservation we arrived on time and we had to do a line outside to enter the place, i dont know but when i do a reservation usually they already have the space ready for you, but no. The service was so nice, i think his name was zaid he was really nice and supportive on his service the only thing is that when we ask him for bread he send us another guy that shared bread to the tables, i promise it was the dryest 2 pieces of bread with 2 little butter Costco boxes we thought it was normal but a lot of people keep getting a nice plate of bread that look way better presented than ours. Overall it was good and we think if you look for a steakhouse place you can definitely try it just heads up it will be really pricey and maybe they will not respect your reservation

The food is above par, but the best part was having Jo as our waiter! He made the night so memorable, so fun, so fabulous! This place is always a sure bet, but Jo makes it far more worth while! Big fan - highly recommend - the vibes are off the charts!

Service was okay, but the food was underwhelming. I ordered the valentine's table d'hôte platter for 2 with my wife. The steak cuts were average at best, lamb chops tasted good but were overcooked, the shrimps were tasteless and rubbery and the sides of vegetables had 0 seasoning.For a total of 200$+ I expected way better than this. Gots to make sure the quality is on point when the prices are higher than restaurant chains..

Omg, I just had the best steak EVER! It was perfectly cooked and flavourful. The garlic potatoes were delicious. The cheesecake was the best. My daughter really enjoyed her blackened fish. Was an excellent dinner and the waiter was sweet and friendly. Highly recommend

The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and very classy, with soft French music that sets the perfect mood. The view over the Old Port streets is stunning, and I loved where we were seated. I kept taking pictures because everything looked so charming. The décor is cute, cozy, and full of character. The waiter was warm and welcoming, which made us feel completely at ease. Service was quick, and I really appreciated the little details, like how the butter was shaped ( it looked like a flower) to pair with the bread. I just wish we had been given a bit more bread. We ordered the table d’hôte at 49$, and for the price, the quality was impressive. For the entrée, we had the shrimp salad with crustinis—delicious and fresh. The main course was shrimp with rice and vegetables, and again, everything was very tasty. The shrimp especially were so flavorful. But the star of the night was the dessert. The crème brûlée was huge and unbelievably good. It was my first time trying it, and honestly, I’m still thinking about it. The portions could have been just a tiny bit bigger, but overall, the experience was excellent. I would highly recommend this place. Also, the décor deserves another mention. I went upstairs to the bathroom and was blown away—the chandelier, the ambiance, even the bathroom itself was clean and beautifully designed. A wonderful experience from start to finish.

Do yourself a favour and don’t run into the same problem!! My fiancée and I had the worst and most disgusting experience during our visit. We visited this house of horror as the first stop of our trip to Montreal, this with the hope of having a pleasant lunch. We found the restaurant very nice and well located, our waitress was nice. The experience was going good at the beginning until food arrived to the table. My fiancée ordered steak and shrimp and I requested steak and lobster which came to say least, FILTHY, kitchen staff didn’t cleaned the gut out of it. I requested the server for it to be replaced, and it was my surprise when they brought it back to the table LYING this was roe, and PRETENDED THAT I SHOULD HAVE IT BACK AND EAT IT LIKE THAT!. I explained that this was not the first time I had it, I even cook it every now and then, this was the guts from the animal, which concentrates a high dose of toxins and can even cause paralytic selfish poisoning, and added that it was absolutely improper to lie a customer. She went back to the kitchen and came back with someone else, which I suppose it was some kind of supervisor, I explained him the situation and once again this person lied to me in the face and tried to convince me to take the contaminated food, when I said -NO- they took it back clearly showing a terrible attitude and they brought back just the meat, no lobster, they didn’t even offer to replace it. If this was not enough, they just served the same already cold steak in an another plate. By this moment I was mad about the situation, I didn’t took a bite from my food I requested the bill, As an extra surprise they wanted to charge me for the lobster I never had, of course I asked for this to be removed, payed for my drink and my partner’s food and left the place after being lied, almost scammed in the bill charging me the contaminated food and ruined our whole meal. Everything because they were completely dishonest and proud, when they could just have said -sorry we had a little issue, let me replace it- Totally unprofessional not to mention UNSANITARY!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
