We had a wonderful birthday dining experience. Lydia was so helpful in making wine and food selections. This was one of the best dining experiences we had while visiting Montreal. The apple pie is not to be missed.

This is just a straight up honest review. We travel for work 5+ times per year and always try a steakhouse at least once. The service and atmosphere were fantastic. Monosh was our waiter and performed to the highest expectations! The food however… was disappointing. The steaks were fatty and overcooked and the lobster had been cooked to a rubbery consistency. The shrimp, albeit large, lacked any flavor. In my opinion you shouldn’t go to an expensive steakhouse and think to yourself, “I need some ketchup.” The mashed potato’s were the star of my dish but you don’t pay $60 just for good mashed potatoes. My recommendation for the chef would be to add some seasoning to the meats and watch the cook temp. We weren’t the only table complaining about the food. The one saving grace was the dessert. The carrot cake was delicious.

ALEX M WAS THE BEST WAITER EVER. HE LET ME ORDER IN FRENCH AND HE WAS SO KIND WHEN WE SPILLED OUR DRINK ALL OVER THE TABLE AND ALL OVER HIM. HE WAS VERY FUNNY AND KNEW HOW TO CRACK A JOKE VOTE HIM FIVE STARS!! DO NOT FIRE HIM!!!!

Fantastic experience! The location is great, very aesthetic and the outer seating is perfect for taking in the beauty of the city while enjoying a pleasant bite (or two!). The staff is amazing, my server - Jo was very friendly and the service was also 5/5. Delicious food and great wine selection, they have a great vegetarian selection too. Do visit if it’s your first (or 100th) time in Old Montreal 😄😄
