I had high hopes for Velora after hearing some positive buzz, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The biggest issue was the temperature of the dishes. Almost everything arrived at the table lukewarm or outright cold. The main courses, which should have been hot and fresh, felt like they had been sitting out for far too long. It’s hard to enjoy a dish when it’s not served at the proper temperature. On top of that, the service was painfully slow. We waited amount of time between courses—nearly 45 minutes for our mains after the appetizers. The staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive, with long gaps where no one checked on us. By the time the food finally arrived, our excitement had completely faded. Overall, the combination of cold food and extremely slow service ruined what could have been a nice brunch . I will not be returning and I do not recommend Velora.

Pistachio matcha drink was good, the cake was mid.
First time going there… no clear indication of where to go to either be seated or place an order (you have to go all the way to the back). Ended up placing a to go order for a matcha pistachio, drove away and with my first sip realised I was given a latte. Disappointed that I didn’t get what I ordered but at least it was good. I will come back and give them another try and like any other cafe, it is noisy.
The cafe is gorgeous. The food is amazing and the servers seem very nice but I didn’t have a good experience because the servers said the food would take 20 minutes and it took over an hour to come out. Ordered at 11:20 and didn’t get my food until 12:40. I recognize they were busy but that is way too long to wait. I also had to go up to the counter multiple times to ask for things. They were too busy to check on my table.
Good milkshake 👍
very good aubergine toast and persian breakfast
Such a cozy place to study. The food was delicious! Gotta love the rose dulce de leche cake, it was amazing. Also, the saffron matcha was very interesting, I've never tried such a combo with matcha, but it turn out to be a lovely combination! Would come again 💙
Very friendly and agreeable staff!
It is the second time I spend my Sunday morning at this café. Everything is fantastic, especially the tres leche cake. I have to say the hostess is really friendly and patient and her smile makes you feel welcome. Highly recommend this place.
Great vibe !!
Strawberry matcha tastes like water. Lots of ice. The guy cashier didn’t know how to give me my change back. But overall nice atmosphere, big space, not loud, nice music.
Very chill spot, clean and with good prices
Great atmosphere. Love the smile of the staff, makes a big difference. And Delicious vegan chai latte, amazing tres leches.

Such a beautiful café!!
Amazing atmosphere and the coffee and food are always on point. My favourite cafe in the city
Great café for students, the food was really good and the pistachio latte was excellent! My favourite!!
I was granted the bogo offer when I went but after referring my friend they tried to up-charge them although the terms of the offer had been clear. That type of conduct is unacceptable.
The Tres Leches Coconut and Dulce de Leches flavors were delicious! It’s such a cozy spot to catch up with a friend.
The très leches coconut it's great! The dulce de latte is a great companion too. Great service and the atmosphere is chill and welcoming
when i arrived at the cafe there was a very loud dj playing, making it a bit difficult to fully enjoy myself. however, once the dj stopped, it was much nicer. the staff was very friendly and the food and drink options are very unique and delicious! personally, i took the pistachio latte and it did not disappoint. after the past 5 years of trying cafes in montreal, i firmly believe this was one of the BEST coffees i’ve ever had. also, they have plenty of space for working, with comfortable chairs and tables. i would just recommend checking in advance if they will have live music :) overall, i recommend the cafe and think it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!
We enjoyed their patisseries and cafes! I ordered saffron cake with baklava cheesecake ! They were super tasty! Id highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in different patisserie tastes.
