Everything was good, but oysters were prob the star of the show for me. The oysters tgemselves so fresh and tasty, the vinegar w pepper, the HOUSEMADE HOT SAUCE 🤯best i ever had i cannot believe they dont sell it. Great service, full restuarant but water was always filled. The duck was very good and i would recommend it for a main for sure! Volume is prettyvloud at peak hours but manageable, maybe not the best for a first date spot in that regard. So so good

This was another great dinner - brought a newbie with me and he was blown away - no misses here on the menu - but above and beyond the great food, the service was a few notches above excellent - well done to Liam for the guidance, the recos and frankly just a great attitude, you made the evening that much better ! Easily the best fish dish i've had in years (fluke) - mind blown. I always come back, my friend will be back and TY to the whole team for keeping it at such a high level all these years. PS: The Oysters (Summer Love) were outstanding.

Tuck Shop is the restaurant equivalent of that one friend who never tries too hard but always shows up looking incredible. Tucked on Notre-Dame West in Saint-Henri, it has the rare quality of being a genuinely great restaurant that doesn’t seem to know — or care — that it’s a genuinely great restaurant. No dress code, no attitude, no one asking you how the first few bites are going. Just good people, good wine, and good food doing its thing. The steak frites is the kind of dish that makes you briefly angry at every other steak frites you’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, no theatrics, no unnecessary foam or micro-herb situation — just meat and fries that have clearly been thought about by people who take the simple stuff seriously. This is the spot where industry people go on their nights off, and if that’s not the highest possible endorsement a restaurant can receive, I don’t know what is.

Came here to say the busboy with the buzzcut who worked Saturday night is exceptional and deserves a raise. The fish and the pasta were also stand out.

A great culinary experience! Our waiter was super fun and made this experience even better. We were in the backroom and it allows you to have a more intimate and cozy meal. The food was amazing and every dish was made to perfection. The portions were perfect. Highly recommend the chocolate espresso cake for dessert! It finishes the meal perfectly. Will be back!

This is our favourite restaurant in the city. We brought my mom here while she was visiting us and had such a great time. The service is attentive without being overbearing and the staff are personable. My mom said it was the best steak she’s ever had and has already asked that we come back here on her next trip to Montreal.

Good morning, Last night I, along with several friends, had the great pleasure of dining with you. Every aspect of our experience was exemplary and we enjoyed our meals immensely. On leaving I realised that I had left my shirt/jacket at the table. Liam returned it too me at Honey Martin later in the evening. I cannot thank him enough for his kindness. I have worked in the service industry my entire life and know that the service we received is not as commonplace as it once was. Once again I thank you and I look forward to joining you on future visits to Montreal.

This was my first visit and I was extremely impressed. Came out for dinner with my wife. The staff was extremely nice, polite , professional and efficient. The food was unbelievable. I don’t usually rave about a place but everything we had was delicious. From the brioche bread. The oysters, tuna crudo and the beet salad as appetizers. Main dish was the duck and the bolognese pasta was incredible. Definitely recommend! My compliments to the chefs and the staff. Keep up the great work !

Great evening at Tuck Shop - the food was absolutely delicious!! Scallops were ok but the real winners were the fried mushroom & hangar steak. Service was ok, and the tables were way too close together to other parties, which was a little uncomfortable, hence the 4 stars.

This place is so underrated. Portions are generous so you don’t end up spending as much as you think. Menu changes weekly. Such high quality service, prep and ingredients.

We’d give it a 4.5 but this rating system doesn’t allow for that. Tuck Shop was great. The service was amazing. We literally tried every appetizer, entree and desert and everythwas delicious. It’s a seasonal menu that seems to change every so often and everything was very fresh. We also loved the ambiance. While we requested the main dining room, we were out in the chalet section which was actually great and quieter than the other room. We’ll be back!
