Alright… let’s talk about Tim Hortons. And I say this with a deep sigh as a tired nurse and a mother of FIVE who has relied on this place more times than I can count… It’s… fine. That’s the word. Just fine. Now don’t get me wrong—I’ve had mornings where that first sip of their coffee felt like it brought me back to life. You know those shifts where you barely sit down, and all you want is something warm and familiar? Tim Hortons does deliver on that sometimes. But other times… I take a sip and I’m like, “Hmm. Joanne, what exactly are we drinking here?” It’s a bit of a gamble, if I’m being honest. The food? Again—fine. The breakfast sandwiches do the job when you’re in a rush and juggling a million things (which is basically my entire life), but they’re not something I’m dreaming about later. I’ve had some that hit the spot… and others that felt like they’d been waiting for me longer than I’d been waiting for them. Service really depends on the location and the day. I’ve had lovely, kind interactions—especially early in the morning when everyone’s just trying their best. But I’ve also had moments where things felt rushed, a little disorganized, or just… indifferent. Which I understand, truly—I work in healthcare, I know what it’s like to be overwhelmed—but as a customer, you do notice it. The atmosphere is what you’d expect: busy, a bit noisy, people coming in and out constantly. Not exactly relaxing, but that’s not really why you go, is it? It’s more of a “grab your coffee and keep moving” kind of place. Look… Tim Hortons is part of my routine. It’s convenient, it’s familiar, and it’s there when I need something quick. But is it amazing? No. Is it terrible? Also no. It just exists in that middle ground where you go because it’s easy, not because it’s special. Would I go back? Of course—I probably will tomorrow morning if I’m being honest. But am I excited about it? Not particularly.

My go to Tim’s in Pembroke!
The staff could be more friendly they don't need a chip on their shoulder the place wasn't even busy there was two customers inside and the drive-thru was thick but pay attention to the front counter as well
Slowest one in town by far. Youll often wait 10min. And they must have skipped the "stirring a coffee" training day.
Dropped my wallet in the toilet last weeks with many bills in it, and yet i see the cashier and everyone else for that matter not wearing gloves while serving food including the cashier, wondering how many customers eating the food served by that cashier after touching money that I just dried up from the toilet. Its not the cashiers fault ,a manager was next to her ignored the issue, who gave the clown his job. Cash can be the dirtiest thing ,people wear gloves when serving food and cashiers have no business serve while at the cash register......
The atmosphere and service has never changed. Every time it's been so pleasant. They own their mistakes and do their best to make it right. I love seeing the regular staff and the other regular customers. The day shift is always amazing to us and my teen son always feels safe and welcome when he dines alone.
Pleasant staff
Was fast and friendly, love coming to this location when im in Pembroke.
I come in during the morning rush through the drive thru. Its always fast and friendly, I appreciate getting to see Christina in window.
go here for the office coffee runs, staff is always fast, kind, and never complain about the 9+ drinks being ordered
Slow.
Every time you ask for a double toasted bagel or bread, its even more raw than regular toasted. They're more concerned about pushing you out of the drive thru instead of providing customer service. We have documentation from the last month, this entire complaint will be sent to corporate, this needs to end.
Quick coffee at drive thru
The staff at the Pembroke west location are very friendly and efficient. They always get my order right.
Everyone who serves me is always so lovely
Half the time doesn't even have whats needed for half the menu. One morning didn't even have hash browns for sausage farmers wrap. Another time they didn't even have sausage for the wrap at 7am.
Counter service SUCKS
Today was the final straw and we’ll not be coming back to this location. In the past week we’ve gone into the restaurant to sit down for coffee and a bite and also the drive thru. Tables were filthy - they always are nowadays and what we ordered is not what we got. Today - 18minutes in drive-thru and couldn’t get out of line. Called and the only thing the manager said was ‘sorry you feel that way’. How you do anything is how you do everything. They want to give half-assed service and not care…why should I give my money to them? Training would go a long way.
Staff is very friendly specialy kisha and Elaine
