Just walked in here for a quick lunch while I wait for my car to be repaired at my garage. The second I walked in, I could tell that the atmosphere was off. It took a while for a staff to meet me at the front and take my order. After ordering, I saw the manager and some members of the staff arguing. It seemed odd at first, as the manager was almost smiling while talking to his employees. This continues for several minutes, and turned into the manager yelling at his staff from the back (which could be clearly heard from my table) and even yelling while at the front. Very uncomfortable to sit here and witness this level of unprofessionalism from who appears to be a manager. Top that off with how dirty the tables are here and how the food is definitely not up to par with other Tim Horton's in the city, the only reason to ever come here would be convenience, and moving forward I don't even know that would enough for me to ever come back. If there is a disagreement between employees and their manager, it should be handled professionally and behind closed doors. They should not have a fight, yelling back and forth, right in the open and in front of customers.
What guests say about Tim Hortons
The reviews are very mixed, with a good number of positive comments about the speed of service, the coffee, the freshness of the food, and the courteous staff. However, several customers complain about inconsistent customer service, sometimes very rude, as well as language issues, wait times, order problems, and cleanliness. Some also mention faulty equipment and a more ordinary welcome at certain times. If you're mainly looking for speed, it can do the job, but the experience seems to vary a lot depending on the time and the team.
Reviews / Ratings for Tim Hortons
Great coffee! Great service every morning
Don’t use drive way at night as the staff is sleeping and not answer. I waited there almost 10 min and they never showed up to take the order. Also once I placed online order and they said they didn’t receive it and I have to pay twice.
Unfriendly service, specially the big lady at the cashier. Disgusting food. Nothing fresh nothing nutritious. Wrong order taken and they threw the bags of food without even telling what’s inside. So much one usage items. The only reason we are here was to bring our car to the service. Tim Hortons is generally not the best place but we had to go in somewhere in the January cold in Montreal.
