Service here is pretty good, no complaints. Atmosphere is fine as well. Nice dining experience. The steak I find too salty. When I order a steak I want to taste the newest, not really the spice. I felt like I had to drink an excessive amount of water to compensate for the salt. I'd go back to try something else, but most likely not the steak again.

If I could give 10 stars to service, I would have. We were a party of four wanting to enjoy a good steak with a good glass of wine. We just walked out of Baton-Rouge because we sat for 30 minutes totally invisible to staff, not even being served a glass of water. I called in and I was guaranteed at table at The Keg. From the moment we walked in, the ladies at the reception were courteous and charming. We were accompanied to our table. When I asked where to hang our coats, the same lady came to our table, took our coats and checked them in the vestiaire, bringing back the checking coupons. I believe our waiter was Dylan. He quickly introduced himself, offered us water, answered our questions about the wine choice and the meat cuts, made recommendations, in summary, excellent service. There was the lady helping them like maybe a supervisor or something, when she noticed I loved their ginger sweet sauce that comes with the calamaries, she brought more to the table and got me extra to take home with me. Needless to say our meal was excellent, meat cooked to perfection according to each one’s desire. The ambience was smart casual, family gatherings, friends reunions, some couple enjoying time in a tête-à-tête mood and the hockey game was on without being overwhelming. We arrived at 5pm, left around 8:30pm and we didn’t see time go by. We spent a very nice late afternoon/early Sunday evening. Thank you The Keg! Thank you all the staff members we interacted with tonight: you are gems.

I recently dined at The Keg Steakhouse + Bar Pointe-Claire and unfortunately left disappointed with the overall experience. Our group arrived with two additional guests, and while I understand space constraints can happen, the situation was not handled well. The manager, Luis, assured us he would bring over an additional table once one became available, but he never returned or checked in with us again throughout our three-hour visit. This lack of follow-through felt unprofessional and not reflective of strong hospitality standards. Service throughout the evening had several oversights. Our server seemed rushed when taking orders, and the guest of honor was the only one left without a drink initially, which set the tone early on. There was also little to no engagement in terms of suggesting appetizers or desserts, which contributed to a transactional “get them in, get them out” feeling rather than a welcoming dining experience. That said, the food itself was excellent and met expectations, which makes the service shortcomings even more noticeable. Having spent 30 years in hospitality, I know how important it is to create a memorable experience for guests—especially when challenges arise. With rising dining costs, service and attention to detail are what truly set a restaurant apart. Unfortunately, that element was lacking during this visit. I hope improvements are made, as the food quality is certainly there—but the overall guest experience needs to catch up.

Wow! Honestly the best and most professional and classy waiters and hosts I’ve had at any Montreal restaurant! They are so polite and friendly! So welcoming! And the food is fantastic too and so is the interior! It’s actually inexpensive in price when you consider all that! My new favourite restaurant for sure!

We go to the Keg quite often but this visit was disappointing to say the least. We went to celebrate my birthday . Unfortunately steaks were medium well, instead of medium rare! In short looking for a new steakhouse. Suggestions are welcomed

Had an amazing evening at The Keg Pointe-Claire—easily the most impressive Keg location I’ve visited. We kicked things off with the calamari, which was perfectly done, and moved on to the steaks… absolutely spot on. Every bite delivered. A special shoutout to our waitress Maddie and the manager Marina, who both went above and beyond to make sure everything was flawless. Service like that makes all the difference. Already looking forward to coming back.

From start to finish, The Keg PC never disappoints. Our hostess Mikaela was lovely and professional….our server Sean was knowledgeable, friendly and quite entertaining. Always recommend this place for a wonderful dinner out or simply a 5 à 7.

Food 2/3 stars at best Service 3 stars Atmosphere 3 stars A coworker just looooved this place so much we went here 4 times for dinner. It was a waste of money. I was too tired to research other places to go to. I think everyone enjoyed the steak. My vegetarian meals were always inconsistent. It was loud, great for hangouts with boring people you don’t want to hear. Steak looked overcooked. My veggies were always overdone. AND two of us got hair in our food. Just yuck. This is a basic boring place for anyone to go to if there’s no where else to go.

Celebrated New Year’s at the Keg and was served by Matthew. Service was phenomenal. Being in the restaurant industry myself, I know to proper steps of service. The food was delicious and came steaming hot, the allergies were taken care of, the manager made sure to touch our table and the atmosphere was beautiful. Considering it was jam packed, everything came quick. Would strongly recommend going to the Keg in Pointe-Claire if you’re looking for a great date night spot, night out with the boys or girls or for a party. Amazing bar section as well!

The Manager Pierre-Alexandre Themens is the best Manager that I have encountered in years. We had 6:00 reservation and unfortunately the had run out of prime rib. Pierre-Alexandre came over to our table and explained what had happened, he was very kind and comped us some wine. Even when we were leaving he was at the door and apologized again. We felt he went above and beyond to make our evening more enjoyable. Food was excellent even without the prime rib. Thank you

This is the zillion times I eat at the Keg and provided many reviews before, this time is to simply say what an amazing service we got from Maria, our waitress. 5/5 for service. PS: the 3 is because my wife steak was cooked rare while we asked for medium rare!

The prices are extremely high for what is offered. Small portions, average taste, and no attention to detail. You can find much better quality elsewhere for half the price. Definitely not worth it.
