The manager is incompetent The manager was not helpful at all with an issue i had after purchasing some gift cards. It could've been an easy fix but I guess not She couldve easily kept the client happy but chose not to
Awful. Save your time and money. We came here on a Monday night at 5:30. The restaurant and bar were busy. We sat at the bar (the only quickly available space.). The server/bartender took upwards of five minutes to even acknowledge us even though we were a foot or less away and quite obvious. Taking the order was tedious and within ten minutes still didn’t even have beverages. The staff were casual and nonchalant even though it was clearly busy. There are a dozen restaurants near by. Very unacceptable. We walked out before getting drinks nearly twenty minutes after we sat down. A complete waste of time. We went down the street and had a fantastic $300 dinner.

I have always had a great experience whenever I got to the keg. However last night the service was really lacking. We were a group of 12 people and we had reserved the room upstairs at 845 pm. We had to book a late time slot since we wanted that room. When we got there at 830 the room was given away already. If we had known we would not be sitting in the room we could have booked an earlier time. We were given sparkling wine for that mistake. Then they sat us at 910, which made things worst since now instead of sitting at 845 which was already late we were sitting at 910. The food was great as usual. Towards the end we all ordered desserts and everyone got theirs except for me. After waiting a while I told the waiter, he apologized and he told me it's on house. It was a nice gesture and I thanked him for it. However in the end he charged me anyway. I didn't say anything since we wanted to leave because it was very late. This is really not the service I expected at the price that we are paying.

Visited The Keg in Laval and was shocked by how poor the food and service were. • The chicken was overcooked, dry, and barely edible. • The salad wasn’t fresh — wilted, tasteless, and looked like it sat out too long. • The restaurant was almost empty, yet service was slow and inattentive. • Overall value and quality felt closer to McDonald’s levels, not a steakhouse. For the prices they charge, this was unacceptable. Definitely not coming back until major improvements are made.
what an unpleasant dinner we had!!! we love meat but we don’t love raw meat. the server could have told us the cote de bœuf was a raw piece of meat! Marinated and grilled they said… there was nothing grilled about our cuts unless they grill a giant piece and then cut it. We came here to celebrate a special day and enjoy grilled meat we ended up really disappointed… also, there was no flavour an all so I don’t get the “marinated” thing.
As someone who has been coming to The Keg for years, I expected a lot more respect and accommodation. Instead, the service was extremely unpleasant. My conversation with Marguelaine was one of the most unaccommodating customer service experiences I’ve had. Very disappointing for a place I’ve supported for so long.
I’m really upset with The Keg. I go there all the time, and I decided to go for my birthday thinking it would be enjoyable like always. Instead, the staff was very unpleasant, and they made no effort to accommodate anything I asked. My interaction with Marguelaine honestly ruined the experience. It’s really not fun to give my money to a place that treats returning customers this way. I expected better.
Great service and very attentive to detail. When they checked to see if everything was okay, I mentioned that while the meal was fine, the steak wasn’t exactly to my taste. The waiter (Nico) genuinely wanted me to enjoy my dinner and brought me a new one, would love to have him work at our restaurant. The manager then stopped by to make sure the replacement was perfect. Truly excellent service—I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

I had such a great experience at The Keg recently. We made a reservation ahead of time and were seated right away as soon as we arrived, which was a great start. They placed us in a cozy corner, perfect for a girls’ night. We were greeted warmly, and our server honestly made the whole evening even better. He was super friendly, funny, and took the time to walk us through the menu. He asked about our tastes, gave us spot-on recommendations, and answered every question and little request we had without ever making us feel rushed. We ended up staying for almost three hours, just chatting, laughing, and catching up. At one point, our server even mentioned how happy he was to see us enjoying ourselves—it was such a sweet touch and made everything feel even more personal. Overall, a wonderful experience from start to finish. Great service, cozy vibes, and a night full of laughter. Would definitely go back!
