I had a great experience dining here! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried exceeded our expectations, and you can really tell that care goes into the quality of the ingredients and preparation. What truly made our visit stand out was the exceptional service from our waiter, Jonathan. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Jonathan was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and checked in at just the right times without being intrusive. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend both the food and the outstanding service!

Johnathan was incredible. Served our table of 12 this afternoon with enthusiasm attentiveness and grace. Great recommendations. Entire staff was excellent. They understand customer service. Highly recommend. Food was amazing. Salmon tar tar was average. But the oysters. Onion soup, escargot.. wow!

Friends convinced me to go after discovering them on Spectra app. We ordered the lamb chops, linguine and filet with apps and desserts, enjoyed all of them thoroughly and left full and satisfied.

I don't know what happens on Sunday night but my friend and I we received the WORST service ever by our waiter Maxime. We found this restaurant on Spectra and we wanted to give a try because they have a good deal on the app. Unfortunately, we ending up regretting our choice. I don't know why but our waiter kinda don't want to work at this place because of the service that he gives it to us. During the whole time nobody come and ask us if we want more water or whatever but for the rest of the customer in the restaurant they got a really good service from other staff it was busy a little bit on Sunday night but not full house. My friend who is lactose intolerant didn't get a suggestion for the dessert. Unfortunately it's going to be our first and last time here . It's sad because the food was delicious and we wanted to be back for the food but unfortunately this is not going to happens

Excellent rib steak! Melt in your mouth top quality meat and delicious grilled octopus as a starter! Our anniversary dinner was memorable. Thank you for the outstanding service and dinner!

I gave a 1 star because there was no zero rating. Steak was bland, full of fat, chewy and gross. The lamb was overcooked, no seasonings and oily. The mushroom were terrible and the mash potatoes were disgusting. Even the espresso martini was disappointing, 90% vodka and 10% coffee.We waited an hour for the food. The only good thing was our server, very nice, polite and helpful. Don’t recommend.

First time here and it didn't disappoint. Decided why hold back....took the grilled octopus. I know octopus is always expensive. It was flavorful and tender. Then took the 17oz rib roast. It was the best ive had so far. Didn't get a lot of au jus on the plate so but I should have asked for more. Also ordered a baked potato but it came plain...others had their loaded. Was never asked how I wanted it...just thought their would have come loaded. For dessert I wanted to try the key lime pie but they didn't have any. Soni took the cheesecake....it was ok but I'm particular with my cheesecakes. overall a great experience but a fairly expensive one. Would come back for special occasions.

Ordered two steaks medium-well and medium-rare and got black and medium, black and rare. No grill marks no nothing just two basically burnt steaks.

We came to Sterlings Steakhouse to celebrate my birthday, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish — 10/10!Our waiter was very kind and attentive, and the service overall was excellent. The steak was absolutely delicious, and the booth was very comfortable, which made the evening even more enjoyable.To top it all off, the staff surprised me by singing happy birthday and bringing out a tiramisu that my boyfriend had arranged — such a thoughtful and special touch.I would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to go back!

Great service and truly delicious food. Everything was spot-on except for the mashed potatoes, which unfortunately arrived cold. Still, a wonderful meal and a place I’d happily return to.

Went to Sterling’s last night and had a great experience. The atmosphere is lovely. Our server, Mr. Dino, was very friendly, kind and genuinely welcoming. The food was good especially the chocolate mousse with ice cream! There was a small issue related to one of their promotional offers, but the owner and staff handled it really well and resolved it quickly. I think what truly sets a restaurant apart is how they deal with customers, and the customer service here was excellent. The owner was especially kind and accommodating. Overall, a great place in Laval and definitely worth checking out !

One of the best steaks i had in my life! Rib eye Aged 35 days! Atmosphere is so classy Our waiter Sam was so friendly and professional! Food is amazing! I really enjoyed my experience in sterlings even though it was a week day on a Tuesday but i chose it for my birthday dinner and i don’t regret it! I will definitely come back!

There are under five (5) places in Montreal and surrounding areas that I can contest to having the utmost superior customer service and quality of food I have experienced. Sterling's has made the grade! Manager Joy, Servers JP and Sam, treated my Brother and me like we were the only customers in the place that mattered....at Lunchtime! The Staff were proud and happy to fix a small issue with results that were over and above necessary that made the both of us embarrassed for having pointed it out....even the owner came to our table to ensure we were happy. Wow! Gibbys should send some of their staff here for training! The escargot were light, not abused by the garlic, lightly blanketed with cheese that was not gummy nor be mistaken as Frisbee. The mashed potatoes were perfect and the prime rib roast beef is the best I have had in the Montreal area. (Sam, you were right!) This will be my new place to go as I definitely want to try other items on the menu!

Just brought my wonderful sister to lunch today and let me tell you i have never had such fantastic service as i did today..ordered a meal thinking it was one thing but was not and after waiter said..i will go get manager..i thought for sure a verbal altercation was about to take place..Instead..we were treated like royalty and given what we actually wanted..NO EXTRA CHARGE...with a smile and a sorry for the misunderstanding..The manager by the name of Joy..and our waiter J.P. made the event super special...even the owner and even Sam who takes care of the meat quality came to talk to us!! So very thankful for the excellent meal and service..Just make sure you go in evening to order a boeuf au jus that was one of the best i ever had..

Came for my friends party on Sunday. We were loud and probably a bit obnoxious but the waiting staff was calm and very welcoming. The food was equally good. There's a wide variety of choices to meet anyone at any price point and enjoy the experience of being in such a fine restaurant. From ribs to steak you can't go wrong. My only regret is that I didnt try the seafood. Shout out Yuna and Ryan( I'm sorry if that's not your name I kind forgot)
