I don’t understand the hype at all. The shawarma was extremely dry and completely tasteless, with zero seasoning. To make it worse, we waited 45 minutes for our food. Definitely not worth it and not going back.

It was ok. I had the crispy mix shawarma. Honestly it was ok. My wrap was dry. Not sure why this was viral. They have nice potatoes. Good service but it was long wait for food.

Unfortunately, it’s just another one of those generic Canadian “shawarma” places that feel like copies of one another. These new “bro-y” places don’t learn authentic Levant cuisine before opening, or just don’t want to… maybe they’re just in for the money? I dunno… But maybe learn from the masters in Lebanon, or Syria, like Khalifeh, or Barbar? The only place I’ve had real, authentic, healthy shawarma in all of Canada is Dunya.

The shawarma tasted good, however the 40-minute wait was unreasonable. No one mentioned the delay when we ordered, and it was disappointing to see delivery orders going out before customers who were waiting in person.
