Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with the shrimp last night. While all the other food was delicious, the shrimp smelled spoiled. My sister mentioned it, but since the taste seemed okay, she ate it. Later, she became very sick with vomiting and diarrhea all night and even missed work. This is not about the refund—it’s about health and food safety. Everything else was great, but this was very disappointing. I’m leaving this review so it doesn’t happen to someone else.

As far as the food and service, this restaurant is truly incredible. However, the placement of the pahlavi flag is truly disappointing and unnecessary. I can no longer eat at this establishment knowing that it supported the bombing of our homeland Iran 🇮🇷. The lost souls of Minab will never be forgotten!

We had koobideh and kebab torsh, and both were really delicious. I especially liked the kebab torsh. The atmosphere and service were great overall. The restaurant is spacious, with plenty of tables, so it was easy to get seated.

Nice little find in Pointe Claire suburb of Montreal. Menu had a nice mix of grilled Persian dishes and stews. Worth a visit.

I had another wonderful experience at Shali Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the flavorful kebabs and perfectly cooked rice. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. What really stood out was the exceptional hospitality from the staff. The service was impressively fast, even though we were a large group. They welcomed us warmly, accommodated all of our requests, and made sure everyone was taken care of. To make the evening even more special, they kindly served our cake, along with tea and music, creating a memorable and enjoyable atmosphere for our celebration. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the outstanding service!

If you’re looking for the best Iranian restaurant in Montreal, Restaurant Shali is absolutely the place to go. The flavor and cooking of the meat are outstanding — perfectly cooked, juicy, and incredibly delicious. Their Akbar Joojeh is unforgettable. It’s beautifully crispy on the outside, tender inside, and the taste honestly takes you straight to the north of Iran. A special thank you to Asal Joon for her warm hospitality. She always welcomes guests with kindness and a genuine smile and provides truly excellent service. Her positive attitude makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Restaurant Shali is one of those places you instantly fall in love with. Once you go there, you will definitely want to come back again and again. Without a doubt, one of the best Iranian restaurants in Montreal.

I've ordered zereshk polo, and Akbar joojeh from them, both generous meals, with good quality and fresh ingredients. Seems like finally there's an Iranian restaurant in Montreal with a real chef behind.

This is the best Iranian kebab I’ve had in Montreal. The food is absolutely delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The whole experience was wonderful. I highly recommend this place if you want to try authentic Iranian food.
