We are vegetarians and ordered Vellulli Garam Gobi from Shaaz on Uber Eats, but instead, we were served chicken. This is absolutely unacceptable and deeply disappointing. We took a bite before realizing it, and it has caused severe emotional distress, as consuming meat goes directly against our religious and cultural values. To understand the gravity; imagine someone being served pork when their faith prohibits it. That is exactly how hurt and disrespected we feel. Such carelessness and disregard for customers’ trust is appalling. It shows a complete lack of responsibility and sensitivity toward people's beliefs. This experience has left us disgusted and unwilling to ever order from Shaaz again. We will never recommend this place again.

Unfortunately the dine-in location was VERY dirty. Not well cleaned and maintained. Food was decent, service was good. But lost my appetite when I saw the dirty tables, dirty carpet and dirty chairs.

Review: I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant during my trip to Montreal. I have been to many restaurants in Mississauga, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. The food was badly overcooked — it tasted burnt and was not enjoyable at all. We couldn’t even eat the food at all. When we complained, they told us to just pack it and take it home — which made no sense because the food was already bad. On top of that, I was charged $40, which is completely unreasonable for the quality of food I received. The staff were also very rude. We even asked to speak with the chef, but he didn’t care at all and completely ignored our concern. Overall, the service and food quality were unacceptable. This restaurant should be checked by food safety authorities. I will not be coming back and do not recommend this place.

I’m quite disappointed with my recent experience. I ordered Paneer Tadka and Hyderabadi Chicken, and unfortunately both dishes were overcooked, had an unpleasant smell, and did not seem fresh. The quality did not meet expectations at all. To make matters worse, when I raised the issue, I was told to take the food home instead of being offered a proper solution. I don’t see the point of taking food home if it is not good or fresh. Despite this, I was still charged price, which made the experience even more frustrating. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and improves the quality and freshness of their food, as well as customer service.
