We had ordered two 2kg biriani, In one tray it was just 4-5 tiny pcs chicken(like one chicken pc cut into 5pcs) Really embarrassing if you ordered for guests. Will never order again.

Would recommend keeping inside area clean, especially floor. Entrance, ceilings, side walls. Apart from that great food taste, value for money

Amazing Indian food and great service! The flavours were authentic and perfectly balanced. The telangana chicken and garlic naan were amazing, mutton mundi and gongura chicken mundi are spicy flavourful and delicious. This is one of the best Indian restaurants in the area.

I visited Shaaz Restaurant recently, and honestly, the experience was extremely disappointing. The restaurant was packed, but there was only ONE server handling everything — taking orders, serving food, cleaning tables, and bringing bills. What’s shocking is that this isn’t just a small single-floor place… there are TWO dining floors, and still only one poor guy running around nonstop. At least 5 tables had already finished and left, but they remained uncleared because the server simply didn’t have a moment to breathe. Meanwhile, many of us were just standing and waiting with no place to sit. It wasn’t the server’s fault at all — he was clearly doing his absolute best — but the management should be ashamed for running a busy restaurant like this without proper staffing. This review is directed at the management: if you can’t afford basic service support, you shouldn’t be operating at this scale. I genuinely felt bad for the server, but as a customer, I value my time… and I won’t be coming back.
1. Bathroom was broken (all stalls out of order) 2. Service took over an hour for two bowls of curry. 3. We were the only whit people present, sever prioritized Indian customers who came in up to 20 minutes after before us. 4. Food was okay, nothing exceptional. Looking at the high reviews for the area, I question whether or not Canadians had ever had good curry or service?
used to order from here a lot, but after the last few experiences I’m done. More than once, I was given a tiny box of fried rice, and the biryani was packed in a container that is about one-third the size of their normal biryani box, while still being sold as a full portion. That feels like a straight-up scam. I agree with the other reviews in terms of portion. I am not sure if this issue is known to owners or not ... This whole experience also makes me seriously question the quality and honesty of their food overall. If a place is willing to cheat customers on portion sizes, who knows what else they are cutting corners on
10/10 would come back here again! Service is on point!

We chose this restaurant last night in part because of the high Google review ratings. The menu is huge. (Hate that you access the menu via a QR code.) Food was indeed delicious. However, the waitress (Sukhwinder) practically forced my friend to leave a Google review by approaching the table with a code to scan. I have been asked to review a restaurant before, but not in this extremely pushy manner!

Biryanis are really good... But didn't like chicken dum biryani.. it's rice is dry and have only 2 chicken pieces in it. No flavors.. very flat taste. I'll not recommend it.. Telangana biryani is so damn good a bit spicy 'best'... This 5 star rating is just for that...

I came here expecting food. I left spiritually upgraded. This is not a restaurant. This is a flavor institution, a cultural landmark, a five-star emotional experience disguised as an Indian spot. From the first bite, my taste buds stood up and started clapping. I’m talking standing ovation. Encore. Curtains closed. Flowers thrown on stage.
