My friends and I recently had a dinner reservation at Sergiolino before a show at Salle André Mathieu. This restaurant came highly recommended, and from the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the beautiful design and the immersive 80s theme, it’s truly a stunning space. Our waitress, Rebecca, provided a standout experience with her impeccable service throughout the entire evening; she was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely a highlight of our visit. The atmosphere, however, took a turn with the frequent birthday celebrations. While it's great to see a new local spot be so popular, the music was blasted for at least three or four different groups, making conversation at our table nearly impossible. We started with cocktails and mocktails, which were well-made and enjoyable. But as an Italian-Canadian, I was most excited to try the pasta. That’s because the social media videos made it look like the kind of food that I grew up with. Unfortunately, this is where our experience was disappointing. All three of us ordered a pasta dish, and none of them hit the mark. My Gomiti alla Sergiolino had overcooked pasta and a bland chicken Milanese that lacked any real flavor. My friends shared the same sentiment with their dishes, the lobster pasta was also overcooked, and the spaghetti with tomato sauce was so under-seasoned that they had to add chili flakes just to get a hint of taste. The complimentary limoncello shots to end the meal were a very nice touch, and the chocolate soufflé for dessert was decent. Ultimately, Sergiolino is a place with immense potential. The service is top-notch, the decor is beautiful, and the ambiance is vibrant. However, for a restaurant of this caliber (and the pricing $$$), the food needs to be elevated to match the rest of the experience. It's not a place I would rush back to for the food alone, but I truly hope they can improve their kitchen because everything else is such a home run!

It’s ok with italian food, but not the best.
You all went above and beyond to help us celebrate a special occasion. The staff was on point with service. Friendly and VERY polite. Even though it was extremely busy, we received great service.
Great time. Awesome vibe and pizza was delish. We ordered a piccata . Very tasty. I just don't get the whole contorni situation . If we're not in Italy, why do that? Great Italo American menu - im all for it but seriously, chef can't smash some potatoes or grilled veg next to the secondo - i mean youre menu is super generous - you even offer those biscotti with the espresso. So slam some rapinni next to my chicken parm next time . 5 stars anyway . Great experience , grazie
Loved my first experience at Sergiolino. Our waitress Victoria gave us an amazing service from the start, the food came quickly and was very good. Couple shots, well crafted signature Whiskey Sour and a Dirty Martini. Had the bruschetta - pesto ravioli and cheese pizza. Definitely recommend and the ambiance is upscale casual, with a festive touch.
Was not impressed with my return back : was excited to go back but was disappointed. My plate of pasta came 15 minutes before pizzas for my group and half my dish was cold other half hot and not much flavour , very basic. Asked for pizza box and bill cuz was little bit in a rush cuz was going to place Bell for hockey game: waiter only brought the box, no bill , took another 10 minutes before getting it and had to ask again. Found prices little expensive, 170$ for 2 pizzas, plate of pasta and two meatballs.
The food was tasty. There were four of us, and we shared three appetizers, a pizza, a pasta dish, and of course dessert. The ambiance is very fun, the music is great, and the service is excellent.
We went to Sergiolinos on Friday night. We had Michel as a waiter. He made our experience at Sergiolinos. He was awesome! The food was also excellent. Will definitely go again!
The place is sweet. Very entertaining. Good 80s music. Service was great. Thanks Rebecca! The food is ok. I expected better for the price .
If you crave some 80s nostalgia, with just an uplifting vibe, great food and service, a superb choice. Great if you’re going to a show. In addition, you get 3 hours of indoor parking for free, so just a pleasant experience end to end.
It was so great. The food was amazing, the service was amazing, and the vibe was amazing! Perfect for a cute supper !
Long wait, very loud music (especially for birthdays parties, it goes like crazy for one minute), and very expensive for pastas. Not best experience.
We're a group of friends who wanted to try the restaurant for the first time. Unfortunately we never heard back. Hopefully next time we can try it.
great time, sadly it’s pretty loud and we struggled to have a conversation without practically yelling. aside from that the service and food is always full of flavor and unique
All was great except our group sat coat rack on our backs and had to get up each time others wanted their coat
WOW! We enjoyed every single bite of everything we ordered. We started with a few appetizers—mozzarella cheese, eggplant parmigiana, and calamari. The portions were generous and perfect for sharing among the six of us, and everyone loved them. For our mains, we shared the Penne Alla Gigi, rib-eye steak with side of mushrooms, and a pepperoni pizza with amazing crust. Everything was absolutely delicious, but the pasta truly stood out—so flavourful! And we can’t forget dessert! The tiramisu and strawberry cheesecake literally melted in our mouths—the perfect way to end the night. What really made the evening special was Nicholas, our host. He kept us laughing and made us feel like we were guests in his home. The service was warm, attentive, and unforgettable. We were celebrating 25 years of friendship, and this restaurant made the night even more memorable. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Nicholas, for an amazing experience!
Lately in the greater Montreal area, I find restaurants are hit and miss. This place is an absolute hit. I was wowed by the 80s like decor and background music, you can tell there was a lot of thought that went into the design of the establishment. Aside from the food being absolutely delicious, the service is top notch. It’s great to see wait staff smiling while you interact with them. Enzo and Annick made sure I was very well taken care of. I don’t live in the Laval area, but this is probably my new favorite restaurant in the Greater Montreal Area. I suggest everyone tries this place out, but keep in mind, their portions are quite big, as the service is meant to be shared amongst groups of people. I highly recommend!
Everything is perfect, from the food all the way to the vibe and the service. Sergiolino is like an 80's time capsule and I'm all here for it. Special mention to Christian for his amazing service and explanations, you're the best.
Good vibe service quality
Atmosphere is fun. One of the best pizza in Laval. The menu is pricy but you get good quality food. Dessert selection is just Ok. I highly suggest fried calamari. I will go back for 100%
Always very good, Love you guys. 🥰❤️
Nice supper with frineds before the game; great, food , great service, great atmosphere
Good food and comfortable seating
Best pasta and best pizza in Laval !!!
The food was excellent... and matched by the service we received. We had the burrata, the eggplant parmesan (that melted in our mouths) and the lamb chops (tender and tasty!)
