Best smoked meat in the world
Food is good but danm the place is old…it kind of killed my appetit a bit..
We went to the take out only restaurant. I ordered 3 sandwitches and asked for extra fatty meat. The 3 sandwiches were prepared before hand as there were ready in no time, didnt have the fatty beef I asked for and they were lukewarm. For the sandwich I had, the meat looked good but I thought it was dry and not that tasty, I added additional mustard which didn't really help. Rye bread comes in different sizes, my sandwich had small slices of bread. The pickles were in a self serve bin, each wrapped in plastic wrap and had pickle juice over them, very gross having to handle them. Overall I was not impressed and I would not go there again.

Banger of a sandwhich
We were skeptical of this place for two reasons: 1 - the disgustingly long line and 2 - the fact that we aren't smoked meat fans. Looking back, both of these were irrelevant. The smoked meat sandwich (10$ at the time...) was spectacular. Make sure you ask for "medium fat". Really, really good smoked meat, in all its peppery, salty, fatty glory. Would absolutely return. 4.5/5 Pro tip - some miss the takeout line, that's much shorter than the restaurant line. Don't miss the takeout line.

The best smoked meat sandwich we had in a while! It was literally melt in mouth. Absolutely loved the flavours and consistency of the beef. Mustard sauce enhanced the flavours to another level. The place was pretty small and crowded. We will have to share seats with strangers. But it was all worth it for the food we had!
