So happy to finally have a Sammi & Soupe in the laval area! They are wonderfully located. Service and food was excellent as always. With the new location recently being open they are often really busy so you may need to wait for a table but it was exceptionally quick nonetheless! Thank you Sammi & Soupe for your great customer service :)

The Xiao Long Bao are freshly handcrafted in-house, the flavor was delicious, though the filling was a bit dry. The pan-fried dumplings had that perfect golden-brown crispness. The wonton soup was a standout, the broth was very flavorful, exceeded my expectations. they were serving complimentary tea in beautiful traditional cups to celebrate the opening.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at SAMMI Soup Dumplings, and I can honestly say that everything was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The soup dumplings were incredible. Beyond the dumplings, everything we ordered was just as impressive. You can truly tell that great care goes into both the ingredients and the preparation. What made the experience even better was the outstanding service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely. If you’re looking for amazing food and great service, I would highly recommend everyone to come.

I’m really happy they opened a location in Laval. Since it’s new, it was very busy, even at 2 PM, but thankfully we had reserved a table so it was ready for us when we arrived. There is still room for improvement. One of us received their dumplings 10 minutes before the other two orders arrived, which were left sitting on the counter for quite a while.

I ordered on the phone and when I got there I waited for 30 more minutes and they got my order wrong. The service was so bad and slow that people who were waiting to eat there left. Never going there again. Very disorganized.

We ordered 3 batches of dumplings through the phone. The receptionist told us it would be ready in 15 minutes. When we arrived at the restaurant, we waited another 30 minutes ( so 45 minutes total) before receivingour order. The receptionist finally realized that our order had been ready for at least 10 minutes. We then noticed that only 2 of the three dumplings were in the bag. The receptionist told us we could wait another "10 minutes" for the other dumplings. Knowing it would not have been 10 minutes, we declined and left. The dumplings were cold. I am never coming back here. The location in Brossard is much better and it actually takes 15 minutes. Very disappointed.

Truly disappointed- walked in for the first time and without even crossing the front door, the gentleman at the desk immediately told us “if it’s for walk-in we have no room”. Truth be told we passed by at 4:45 pm not thinking it would be busy and again… it was our first time! Employee didn’t even make the effort to welcome us or offer take out. I think I’ll stick with going to the other locations. Disappointed with service - considering the fact they JUST opened.

We went as a group of 6 on their second opening night and although the food was very flavourful, the dumplings were a little dry.Also, the service was slow, however given that it was their second night and they were very busy, they may still need to make a few adjustments and that’s understandable. We were a little disappointed in their spicy oil, the chili oil was not at all spicy, they offered sriracha.
