Dad reserved this for mom’s birthday brunch. Servers were really nice. Food was incredibly mediocre !!! Bagels, breakfast sausage … dry … Went for a few rounds and didn’t have anything note worthy lol . There is so much good brunch in Montreal don’t waste your money here.

Every dish hit perfectly - the walleye, duck, and snow crab couldn’t have been better. Flavors were on point. Pairing suggestions were also spot on.
A nice breakfast place with a warm vibe. The food was delicious. However, the service was terrible. The waiter purposely ignored us and made us wait for every step of the service. When we told him we were ready to order, his response was: "I'm not ready." No eye contact, no smile. We wanted to ask for water, but no one even paid attention to our table. I'd guess the water was upset, because I came to the restaurant 30 min before our reservation, was seated and had to occupy the table while waiting for other guests. But I don't believe it was the right way for the waiter to take it at his patrons like that.
I’ve been here for afternoon tea twice, 3 years ago and again this weekend. The quality of the food and of the experience used to be much better. It’s too loud to speak comfortably when busy. The food didn’t taste fresh and there wasn’t anything that stood out. Quite expensive for the level of quality received. The service was good, they’re quite attentive. I wouldn’t go back for tea however.
Absolute Chef’s Kiss for the best avocado toast I’ve ever had. The toppings were fresh and carefully curated, right down to flowers hidden within. The toast was perfectly cooked enough to not get soggy, but not be dried out. The poached eggs were perfection. The service from the hostess, to the server was just the right amount of attention.
We had a fantastic experience at Roselys while staying at the hotel. Given the terrible weather outside, having such a high-quality spot right in the building was a massive advantage. The atmosphere is beautiful and very neat, with a great vibe that manages to feel upscale without being too loud. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to be kind to our young son, providing coloring materials to keep him occupied. It was also great to see a dedicated kids' menu, which is always a thoughtful touch for families. As for the main courses, the food was incredibly flavorful and well-prepared. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes and very reasonable pricing for the quality provided. Overall, a very tasty and stress-free meal. Highly recommended if you’re looking for great food and a welcoming atmosphere!
great breakfast. had both style of benedicts and they were both yummy. the potatoes were very crispy and yummy and the eggs were perfectly runny. i didn't see a mocha on the menu but when i asked the waitress, she said they could make one and it was so good! the latte is also very light and nice.
Nice breakfast but over priced over 100.00 for two people.
I have eaten at Roselys Sunday Buffet probably 50 times throughout the years. It is a wonderful affair. The best buffet I have seen. So, when I made the reservation for the Easter Sunday buffet I was excited. The menu posted by Roselys stated that there would be: Devilled eggs with caviar Lamb rack Beef Wellington Foie gras NONE OF THESE ITEMS WERE PRESENT! I was astonished. I had 2 guests from Toronto with me. They were really looking forward to the Beef Wellington and the foie gras. One admitted that he had never tried caviar, so he was looking forward to trying the devilled eggs with the caviar. Well, those wishes fell very flat. As I was leaving the buffet I mentioned our disappointment to 2 female staff standing at the entrance to the restaurant. They looked at the description of the Easter Sunday buffet on my mobile. They could not provide an explanation, nor did I think they could. I advised the females that I had reserved the upcoming Mother's Day buffet. The Roselys' menu on their site advised that there would be lobster. I stated that I don't know now if there will be any lobster. One of the staff said "well maybe there will not be lobster because it may not be in season"! I advised her that I am from Nova Scotia, and lobster is always available. She seemed clueless. Another employee named Annalysa Pilon spoke with me and said she would address my concern with other Roselys staff members. Wowie. That does not resolve what happened to me that day. All of this to say, if you book the Roselys' Sunday buffet, don't expect to get what they advertise. So very disappointed.
Very chic for afternoon tea but well worth it.
Simply delightful in every way
Honestly, a disappointing experience. The food was good but service was not. The waiter forgot about our table. Did not come back to check on us or fill waters. Part of my order was missing and it was not rectified. The prices are staggering and the service should match this.
We visited for afternoon tea and, while the food had some enjoyable highlights, the overall experience didn’t quite match what we were hoping for at this price point. A few things stood out. The tea was served in mugs rather than traditional fine china cups — a small but noticeable detail that affects both the temperature and the spirit of a proper afternoon tea. We also found the atmosphere harder to enjoy than expected: staff were visibly preparing for dinner service throughout our visit, which included spraying and wiping down nearby tables, and moving large carts and trolleys across the room. There was also an open bar area where we could see and hear staff socializing. Together, these things made it difficult to settle into the relaxed, refined experience that afternoon tea is meant to offer. Given that this is set within the Fairmont Elizabeth, we came in with expectations of a more elegant and traditional experience. We hope the team takes this as helpful feedback and constructive criticism — with a little more attention to the atmosphere and presentation during service.

Went for the buffet on a Sunday afternoon. The food presentation, the staff and the atmosphere is amazing. My only comment is the lack of vegetarian food. It’s unfair for a vegetarian to pay full price at the buffet for basically salad, pasta and cold pizza. It’s 2026, I would have thought a top tier $100 buffet would have more options with tofu, lentils, different types of pasta etc. Besides the lack of options for vegetarian, it was great.
Overpriced. Deeply average food. Mediocre service at best. Was there with two others on a Saturday night in February and we all agreed: You can dine better with more attentive service for half the money on Montreal. Will not be returning.
We had a lovely evening, late-valentine’s day dinner. Our waiter was Rafael, he was outstanding! We remember him from last time, and he is always as friendly and entertaining. Thank you for the lovely evening
Went for afternoon tea on Valentine's day. Our waiter was friendly when taking our order, but did not come to check on us even one time, which was a shame, because my partner and I both wanted more tea. Giving it 2 stars because the ambiance was nice, but unfortunately the customer service was non-existent.
Treat yourself and go have a drink at the bar. Allessa is lovely and got us settled in when we came in tired after a long day of exploring in the cold. Stephane is a wonderful bartender and host. He makes tasty cocktails and will take good care of you! He helped us plan our evening dining with some great recommendations. Try the charcuterie board too!
I visited Rosélys at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth while traveling from Phoenix, and it exceeded my expectations! It was a busy day in Montreal, but my server, Jean, was incredibly accommodating. They quickly found me a spot and provided attentive, knowledgeable service throughout the meal. He really made the experience feel special. The food was absolutely delicious, highlighting fresh, local ingredients with beautiful presentation. I enjoyed a full course (entrée and main), and it came to around 150 CAD, which felt very reasonable for the quality and refined setting. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, with that perfect mix of French sophistication and Montreal charm. Thanks again to Jean and the team. I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm in the city! 5 stars and highly recommend for a standout bistro meal.
We walked into this restaurant half hour ago and waited quite a while to be seated, but unfortunately no one acknowledged us. Multiple servers kept walking past without even a quick greeting or check-in. After some time, we asked a server if we should seat ourselves, and he told us a host would be with us shortly. We continued waiting, looking around to see if anyone would notify the host or come help, but no one did. Eventually, we got tired of standing there and decided to leave. The couple behind us ended up doing the same. Really disappointing experience, as basic acknowledgment and communication go a long way. The restaurant itself does look lovely.
Food was awesome but service was ok could be better. I wasn’t greeted and server didn’t introduce himself so for a hotel restaurant like that it was quite mid.
My favorite martini stop pre or post via rail voyage
