The food and the atmosphere are phenomenal. We had a few mishaps like waiting a long time to get our entrees. However, our waitress CLARA’s service was top notch. She gave us amazing recommendations and was very apologetic for the kitchens mistake and truly made up for the lack. She made our dinner fabulous and I would definitely come back. We came for an experience and we received an incredible one thanks to her.

I am not one to ever complain about food because it’s really hard to mess food up in my opinion, but this place takes the cake. My friend’s burger bread was hard as a rock. We knocked it on the plate and it made the loudest knock on the plate. Sides cost extra, so if you didn’t pay extra for the fries it would’ve been just the burger on the plate and that’s it. I had a salad with chicken added and it came up to $73 with tip which I think is an exaggeration, considering the fact that my chicken was so dry I could barely swallow it. The atmosphere is very nice, and some of the staff were very nice, some of them just plain rude. When we talked about our experience to our waiter Nico, he was very understanding and offered us free cookies to go. Thank you for the amazing service Nico you were very funny and king :)

The food is absolutely tasteless, the ribeye sandwich is the worst I've ever had for $42, and the oysters are the smallest I've ever seen. The prices are inflated. But the place is beautiful. I don't recommend it.

The service was horrible, the manager kicked us out after 1,5h , after we spent more than 120$ per person… on a Friday evening. Very disappointed.P.S. Change the management, before they ruine the reputation of this beautiful franchise.

I visited LRH Rooftop in Montreal with 11 friends. The atmosphere was nice and the food was acceptable, but the service was awful. We experienced long waits for drinks, appetizers, and mains; the manager was rude when I raised the issue. Billing was extremely slow — we were still waiting for our checks while putting on our coats. Overall I was very disappointed and would not recommend this location; the Toronto branch is much better.

The service was terrible , the lack of respect and welcome was a bit of shock to me honestly. The whole restaurant was in chaos , all rushing , the only nice service we received was from our waistress that was very nice to us. The receptionist gave us a very poor welcome and threatened to give us only 1 hour and 45 minutes to eat because two people were missing from our reservation (out of 5), even though our table wasn't even ready when we arrived. The restaurant is very nice but that’s a very big price to pay considering that’s the only nice thing you’ll get from you’re whole experience in the restaurant, Disappointed.

My first time here, and definitely my last. The arrival was very unwelcoming. We were rushed from the moment we sat down, and it honestly felt like they were more concerned with getting people out than letting them enjoy the experience. The waitress was the only positive part of the service she was kind and professional. The food was disappointing. The steak was extremely small and very dry. The “poached eggs” were not poached at all they were essentially runny boiled eggs. On top of that, we were told there was an event coming to justify rushing us out, which did not seem genuine. Overall, the experience was extremely unpleasant. Yes, the restaurant is pretty, but Montreal has no shortage of beautiful restaurants that also know how to treat their customers properly

Second time and probably the last. The food was ok but definitely not worth the money. We got our breakfast before our coffee, and when we finally got it, it was cold. The service was very uneven; waiters were more busy talking amongst themselves than taking care of the guests. No atmosphere at all; everyone was all over the place. Management and organization were definitely deficient. Too bad because it's a nice place but that's where it ends! The service was

Worst restaurant experience in Montreal. We were told to leave because other guests were waiting — completely unprofessional. If there is a time restriction on tables, it should be clearly stated when booking. Considering the amount of $$$ we left, this treatment is unacceptable. Management clearly needs to change ASAP before this place develops a very bad reputation.

Being asked to leave because “other guests are waiting” is unacceptable. If you have time limits, communicate them clearly at the time of booking. This reflects poor management and a lack of basic hospitality. Judging by the number of similar negative reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue.

All sparkle and no substance. We waited half an hour past our reservation to be seated, and it took another 20 minutes to get drinks. The lobby was an awkward and uncomfortable furniture store showroom. The food was bland, basic and not at all worth the price. The restaurant itself was beautiful except for the massive electronic billboards shining into the restaurant from all angles.

Really enjoyed my visit here. The food was great and came out exactly how we hoped. Clara took excellent care of us — super friendly, attentive, and easy to talk to. You can tell she genuinely cares about doing a good job!! Derek, the manager, also checked in and made sure everything was going well, which we really appreciated. Solid food, solid service, and a place I’d definitely come back to

Food in this place is certainly overrated! I loved the decorations and the atmosphere but certainly not worth the price tag on food. The menu lacks creativity (no soup, limited tea options) and limited gluten free recipes… The one perfect thing about this place is decoration and furniture!

I am an American living in Montreal & I am a foodie. I appreciate a gastronomic flavorful meal that is esthetically pleasing to the eye which this restaurant was not any of the above. I have eaten at beautiful restaurants in Europe, north america & across the globe with great wait staff & unbelievable food which this had none of these qualities.. RH is a basic menu with minimal choices, usually I dont think over priced altho this food was so basic it was obviously over-priced. What RH serves in Montreal is served at RH in NYC, LA & all of there other restaurants, nothing sourced locally, no microgreens, no specialty, no gluten free, no vegan, no organic, could have been at a Cracker Barrel! They have no story, no chef, this restaurant is all hype, no depth. Food distributed by Sisco which means RH imports American sourced food. Primarily the food was not pleasing to the eye & just not good, not worth going there. I would NEVER recommend. Read reviews 1st as there are so many negative & reflect similar concerns that I had. The plates were bare, no herbs, no salad, no spices. I had 1 dish that came with a piece of salmon extremely dry & a lemon. And nothing on the menu stated WHERE the food was sourced which means no consistency, RH purchases from the lowest bidder. (Similar to cruise ship purchasing cull or old meat & frozen food.) Being in the food industry its important knowing where the food is sourced. I dont want to eat shrimp from Thailand or farmed salmon, crab was horrible w no flavor, definitely not from north east Canada, Maine or Boston. The food had no taste no texture, no substance with the simplest menu. There are so many xlnt restaurants to choose from in Montreal, RH is a BIG fat pass!

Very mediocre. We’ve enjoyed RH restaurants in other cities and we were excited to have one at home, but would not go back since Montreal has so many other, better food destinations. Atmosphere is nice but a little forced. For the price, the drinks were not very interesting. Food was ok; my eggs seemed like they’d been sitting out awhile. Bread over toasted and hard. Truffle fries cold when they came out. We tried the mini lobster rolls with caviar… over buttered buns and lobster looked and tasted like it was from a can. Our waiter also came back to ask the same questions a few times and forgot a few things we asked, like bread on a separate plate so that my gluten free husband could try the rest of my dish.

The food was excellent and the atmosphere was truly amazing: warm, stylish, and inviting. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. The space has a great vibe, with well-chosen music, lighting, and decor that really enhance the dining experience. That said, I feel it’s important to raise a serious concern: the restaurant is calculating tip on the amount after tax, which is not only against Quebec regulations but also misleading to customers. When I brought it up, they claimed to be working on correcting it, but considering the rule has been in effect since May and they opened after that, it’s hard not to see this as a deliberate decision to overcharge customers. This kind of practice undermines the trust customers place in a restaurant. While we genuinely enjoyed the food and atmosphere, I hope management takes responsibility and fixes this immediately. Legal compliance and transparency are just as essential as good food and service.

Had a great time here! The food was lovely, but what really made the experience stand out was the service. Marwane was incredible — attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Would definitely come back!
