Cleanliness and food safety are very important to us, especially since we are located directly in front of the hospital. Many of our customers are healthcare workers, patients, and families, and we fully understand the responsibility that comes with that. We’d also like to clarify that the owner is not a man, but a woman who cares deeply about maintaining high standards in the restaurant. Regarding gloves, according to Québec government guidelines from MAPAQ (Ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation du Québec), gloves are not mandatory in all food-handling situations. That being said, what you described about an employee wiping their nose and then handling food is not acceptable and does not reflect our standards. We will be having a meeting regarding this situation with our team. We also have a full time cleaning staff member who maintains the restaurant throughout the day, in addition to our regular cleaning procedures. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Hi Sandra, Thank you for your message and for being a longtime customer. We completely understand your frustration and want to clarify our Sunday hours. The restaurant closes at 3 AM, but we close the delivery apps around 1:30 AM because there are fewer delivery drivers on the road at that time. Orders can take 1–2 hours to arrive, and we’ve received many complaints about food arriving cold, which is why we set this cutoff. Sometimes, we also close the delivery apps earlier when the restaurant is very busy in store, as we want to ensure we can properly serve both our in-person and delivery customers. As a valued longtime customer, it saddens us to see a negative review, especially when over the years we haven’t received the positive feedback.
