This was conveniently located near our hotel and had a kid's menu that came with dessert. My husband's risotto was delicious but my chicken piccata came with no capers (and I'm pretty sure the menu said it had capers). I was too timid to complain or send it back and it was tasty but definitely not a true piccata. The tiramisu was just okay.Edit to respond to owner: You're right, I should have just asked for capers. I changed my star rating from 3 to 4.

Tourist trap, service wasn’t great and the food wasn’t good enough to justify eating here.
Save your money. The food was so not authentic. This pizza was reminiscent of a frozen one, or like the old chef boyardee gross pizza. The sauce was like sugar. The crust was horrible. The meatballs are definitely frozen and served with no sauce. The cheese ravioli was umdewhelming. They are super friendly before the food comes. Then they dont come to your table until you want your billm no water refills. No "how is everything?" They probably lnow not to come back because its horrible food. We left the entire pizza less part of one piece, more than half thr ravioli and let the waiter know it was not what we were expecting. He said "oh sorry about that" and gave us our bill. I dont mind spending a lot on a meal, bit when I do, i expect reasonable service and good food. Not this slop.
Sara was very friendly and accommodating. She also has big smile.
Super service
Great place to go when in Old Quebec! Great atmosphere AND if you’re lucky, one of their staff is fantastic with the accordion and plays (and sings) The Beatles, Elton John and other more traditional music. I ordered the Poulet Terazinni and my wife got their Poulet Piccata, delicious 10/10 would come back here.
JC was the greatest. He made the night amazing and memorable. We will definitely be back !
great food and great service, highly recommended thanks JC!
Lovely evening! Great staff, food and wine selection! Live accordion player was amazing and made us feel like we were in Italy! Will return!
Awful food, awful service, a menu created 40 years ago and never updated
I dined here once in 1999 while on vacation from Boston. We loved the vibe and the people. We came for a late dinner and the place was slow. The accordion player basically gave us a private show. For the past 27 yrs I've been recommending your restaurant to anyone I know traveling to Quebec. Any who tried it have thanked me, as they also had an amazing time. Thank you so much for the delicious meal all those years ago, and for taking care of all my family and friends who have visited since. I told them you are worth a visit, and you continue to make me a man of my word. Peace and love from Boston, MA.
Just ok
The pizza was so good and loved the warm hospitality. highly recommend this place. Service was also very good
Best experience of my life. We celebrated our one year anniversary here and had phenomenal service and even got complimentary dessert! What a nice server! JC is the best!!
Dined here for my birthday dinner on the 30th December. Booked a couple of days in advance. Arrived on time and checked in at the door, only to have the greeter then ignore us and move onto another walk-in customer who ultimately she could not offer a table to. We were seated right next to the bar and at the entrance to another room, so the amount of foot traffic by our table was massive. The restaurant was very busy (and there are a lot of tables crammed in) so we tried our best to ignore this. We did enjoy watching the restaurant try to seat 4 people on a tiny table behind us multiple times whilst we ate - all were moved to other tables, luckily for them. The service was good, friendly and attentive and the only downside was the sheer amount of people, chairs and enormous coats grazing the side of the table. The food was OK - perhaps we ordered badly. The cheese fondue (not sure what cheese it was, the menu doesn't divulge) was tasty. Cannelloni was richly filled, the Baked Ravioli was a little bland and one-note. All in all, a disappointment and an expensive one at that, over $110 for our meal that just included water, a shared appetiser and two baked pastas. Certainly not the best value meal we had in Quebec.
It’s a little tight inside but such a nice place overall! Food was excellent and the accordion player was a fun touch.
