Everything was good with that little "je ne sais quoi" and I ordered the daily offering the wine pairing option. Mostly all local wines. Good table wear, glass an cutlery, but the napkins should be white. Service attentive and prompt. Interesting the whole brigade was female. Good for you. All the food was great but the pork was chuwy. My majeur issue was the toilet seat. NOT made for a man. To reach the top seat you need a half a finger to reach it. Maybe install urinals. They had the Montréal Canadians playing in those restroom and would of preferred to stay there for the rest of the meal, but who does that? went back to my seat and had the desert paid and left. I would go again is I did -not had to be so limited in the chose of food à la carte, I would take 1/2 a star for that but well done.

Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié cette petite touche de « je ne sais quoi », ainsi que notre accord mets et vins. Celui-ci évolue continuellement et nous tenons toujours à y intégrer un vin ou une bière du Québec afin de faire rayonner notre terroir et le savoir-faire d’ici. Concernant nos serviettes, elles sont confectionnées en lin naturel, ce qui explique leur teinte non blanche. Elles sont également fabriquées ici même à Montréal, un choix qui nous tient particulièrement à cœur. Et pour notre brigade féminine, même si ce soir-là les femmes étaient bien représentées, nos collègues masculins font eux aussi partie intégrante de l’équipe. Pour ce qui est des toilettes, compte tenu de notre espace limité, nous ne pouvons malheureusement pas envisager l’installation d’urinoirs. Nos installations sont universelles et pensées dans une approche plus inclusive. Pour ce qui des choix du menu, nous préférons se concentrer sur un menu plus "limité" mais maitrisé et toujours en fraîcheur. Au plaisir de vous recevoir à nouveau !

What an incredible experience, thank you Catherine. An intimate, gastronomic delight sitting at the chef’s table. I went out with my husband and we both had the 5 dish menu so we tried every item on the menu. Each dish is different and each dish is special; it is also the only place I have tried in Montreal where the spices and herbs tell their own story. My absolute favourite dish of the night was the celeri granité; to take something so simple and banal as celeri and make it a masterpiece, that’s art. Congratulations!

My friend has been raving about this restaurant since the first time he went. At one point, he was going two times a week because he loved it so much (and wanted to support a brand new local business). Let's say my expectations were through the roof! Well, they deserve all the compliments. They transport you on a journey of carefully selected local produce, prepared with the greatest care. I hate beetroot, and their beets dish was one of my favourite. They are that good. Every member of the team was exceptionally kind, fun to talk with, and knew everything about the dish and its wine pairing. Special shout out to Fanny, who made us feel very welcome and took great care of us. I will certainly go back next time I am in Montreal!

Weird diner experience... The different plates were irregular for my taste, ranging from incredible to uneatable... This restaurant is over hyped iny opinion

I could tell they want to offer good service but the server was really busy and always quickly walked by and dropped a sentence: is everything ok? And rush to next table, in the end we even saw her shirt was covered some food stains…when introducing the dish she kept forgetting what was the dish about, struggling between several tables. The most impressed dishes were the first entree beet (BETTERAVE) and the pour over coffee in the end. The bread is good however it’s not refillable; QANTU chocolate is always our favorite brand so it’s nice to see their name on the menu. Others we found it ok, but presentation is good. We walked out with full stomach but not a very satisfied feeling.

We always aim to offer attentive service to every table and we regret if that wasn’t the experience you had with us that evening. At times we may search for our words, especially since English is not our first language, but we always do our best and try to keep the atmosphere warm and friendly. We also apologize if one of our team members had a stain on their shirt. Working with food and cocktails can sometimes lead to little accidents during service, but we absolutely take your comment into consideration as we are always looking to improve. As we often mention, we truly appreciate when guests share their feedback with us during the meal, as it allows us to address things right away. When we checked in at your table during service, nothing was mentioned and unfortunately it can be difficult for us to adjust things afterward. Regarding the bread, we treat it with the same care and respect as the rest of the menu. It is made fresh daily in Montreal by a local bakery and served with our house-made cultured whipped butter. That said, we’re always happy to provide more if requested. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the beet dish and the pour-over coffee and of course that you appreciated seeing Qantu chocolate on the menu. We still hope you had a pleasant evening with us.

Had come here a couple months back, was recommended to me by a friend to try out their tasting menu. Did the wine pairing which was excellent, however, the food was a bit lacklustre. Very high price point, nothing was standing out to me, service was ok, nothing was really explained so the food journey wasn’t immersive. The desert was probably the best part of the meal.

Our first visit to Panacée was beautiful. We tried the 5-course tasting menu and all dishes scored high with the exception of the stuffed onion. Portion sizes for main dishes could’ve been a tad more generous though each course packed a flavourful punch. Service was excellent and the attention to detail for the birthday boy was certainly appreciated. Bravo to this amazing team. We loved our experience 🥂
