A very iconic spot in Montreal which is a must-visit. We went there on a Saturday night and obviously it was packed. Very different vibe there. Many vegetarian options in the menu. Food was good overall. We went for a grilled cheese, vegetarian burger (both combos) and a veggie pogo. Liked all three. Fries were good. O-Juice was nice but felt a bit sugary than sour. Portions were good and it didn’t feel heavy. All their meals are given in takeout brown bags - no trays, plates etc. They don’t have any indoor seating options but there are standing counters. There are a couple of benches outside if the weather permits. Many folks just got the food to their cars and ate them there. Staff was nice. Given it was our first time, we had a few questions which they answered well. Plenty of parking outside. Definitely recommended.

One of the great old-school institutions of Montreal. The Orange Julep always hits. The fries are a little sweeter.

I love this place! Love the juice, and the food has always been really good. I appreciate that they have a solid selection of vegetarian options.

I've only had the orange juice, but I've been going Gibeau Orange Julep for years. The taste of their juice is fresh, bright, and milky. Very distinctive and nostalgic architecture and atmosphere. It's just missing the service at the car on vintage roller blades. Well worth the detour.

Another one part of the Montreal experience this place is a must go I wish they still had roller blade service Good juice Everynight you get to see nice cars Also a lot of police so beware if youll be doing some dumb shit Shit got super expensive and their renovation made the juice less foamy and less creamy I dont know what they did but it dosent taste the same as before Lay off the artificial sweeteners Gibeau!!!

Delicious juice, must try. Very casual place. They often host car and bike meetups.

Honestly I was fully expecting to hate this place due to all the negative reviews. While some of them are true - it is pretty pricey for what you get - the food was actually very good. The poutine was salty but delicious. The chilli dog was excellent. The famous orange juice Julep was unique and not my favourite. I personally think it was worth the stop for this food and to see this giant orange structure. No complaints except for the price being high.

You haven't visited Montreal properly if you don't visit this place. The orange juice is to die for, and the food is really good but not the best poutine in Montreal.

As a tourist, It is alright but I came in expecting more as I heard a lot of hype online. It felt like watered down orange juice, was hoping to resemble more of an Orange Julius type of drink.

It’s located at such a random place and if it’s raining or snowing there’s no seating cause all the seating is outside. However, I personally love the poutine and orange juice from here.

Quick service I ordered a hot dog Michigan, poutine and orange julep. Flavour is what you'd expect at a highly sought after casse croute.

The food, the ambiance, and the patron? A solid 10/10. The food never disappoints. A true Montreal institution, worth every penny. Yes, the price is steep, but you're really paying for that legendary OJ

It had been around 15 years since I last ate at the Julep, and finally got around to trying their poutine. I did an Uber Eats order and was pleasantly surprised by how fast it was delivered…..a very positive start! Unfortunately I was disappointed by the poutine. First off, the large poutine is a ripoff at $17. It is too small! As for the food itself, I had high expectations for the rich looking sauce. As someone who never adds salt to anything, my first thought on tasting it was that it needed salt. The sauce is not bad, but didn’t pop. I did enjoy the way the 3 ingredients blended together. If only the sauce tasted as rich as it looks….

When you see a giant orange in a parking lot you have to check it out. Had Sunday morning breakfast here. The service was decent, seemed like they may be in training but they got the order correct. Pretty surprised by the quality and the food matched the photos on the board. Better than franchise fast food at pretty much the same price.
