Alex F was an amazing server. From the first moment we were sat at our table he took extremely good care of us and you can tell he’s intentional about what he does. He consistently checked in on us, refilled water and made sure we had everything we needed. Afterward, we asked his recommendation for a place to have a drink and he personally called for a space and walked us across the street and sat us at the table! The food was exceptional. We had the shrimp cocktail, crab cake, lobster pasta(seasonal special), and blood pudding/shrimp. Everything was very good. The wine, and cocktails after were great. I highly recommend this restaurant and especially Alex

Fantastic food- both the entrees and the desserts. It was elegant without being fussy. The waiter was both professional and warm. The atmosphere was sophisticated yet cozy-lovely art and sculptures inside. It was our favorite part of our visit to Quebec City- it is a must visit restaurant

Atmosphere is the highlight. The $1 oysters at the bar were good though had some shell pieces in oyster. The food was lackluster overall. The NY strip steak lacked any flavor, needed a lot more seasoning. The seafood pasta was only fair and didn’t have much flavor either. The service at bar counter was mixed with most being good, then a few times we could not get anyone. The drinks were pretty good and appropriate strength level to them.

Quite simply the best quality meal and service of my holiday! Top notch fresh oysters, served with shallot and jalapēno vinegar, super fresh snow crab with delicious homeade mayo. Then the house dish of queen scallops (pétancles) with black pudding. Everyone in this place knows what they should be doing, and how to do it! The fine touches like a proper warm water/lemon finger bowl instead of those horrible lemon wet wipes, makes a difference.

My fiancé and I chose Restaurant Ophelia to celebrate our engagement after having a disappointing experience at another restaurant a previous night and it certainly did not disappoint! From start to finish, the restaurant staff were very accommodating and our waiter, Gabriele, in particular made the night an unforgettable experience. Gabriele checked in constantly to make sure we were being accommodated well and even offered to move us to a larger/nicer table when one opened up. Additionally, all aspects of the food were great, which we also need to give credit to Gabriele’s recommendations. The appetizers (bone marrow/escargot, octopus carpaccio, and clam chowder) and the entrees (ribeye and scallop/black pudding) were nothing short of wonderful. To top it off, at the end of our dinner, Gabriele offered us an after dinner maple infused vodka in celebration of our engagement. Overall, we had an amazing night at Restaurant Ophelia and will definitely be returning the next chance we get!

We were visiting Quebec from the United States, Louisiana and Florida. We had a wonderful time dining in the orb/dome. Although very cold, it was kept warm by a small heater. Our waiter, Jules, was awesome, and he gave us great recommendations. Overall, a wonderful experience. You need to try the black pudding!

Amazing and unique experience at Ophelia! Highly recommend because of its cozy ambience specially with the dome and the food is delicious as well. Can’t go wrong with the steak and eggs. Marie was great and attentive, she took care of us with our brunch experience. Merci beaucoup!

It was our first time visiting Quebec City, and we booked dinner in the domes. The food was excellent, we had the seafood dish cooked to perfection. The service was even more impressive. William G was a fantastic waiter and made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this restaurant! 😊

We were in a dome but unfortunately the heater kept malfunctioning. They finally got us a new heater after about 45 minutes. It would have been appropriate to comp us a dessert or appetizer but they didn't. Food was good, not great.

Absolutely incredible. The food tasted amazing! We went with the server's must-try suggestions and we we're very satisfied. Our server was awesome! We definetly recommend. It was also our first time in an outdoor dome and it was appreciated.

We visited Ophelia for my son’s 18th birthday. They immediately brought our group a delicious shooter. The apps were incredible- hot oysters, salmon crudo, caesar brussel sprouts- everything was so good. Drinks were excellent as well. For our entrees my son had the wagyu steak and loved it. Dessert came and they brought him a slice of cake with a sparkler candle. Waitress was fabulous and attentive. Great experience. Would definitely recommend

It was the first visit for my wife and I, and 100% will be going back the next time we are in the city. From the kind and knowledgeable staff to the excellent and quality food they serve, I would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to have a exceptional meal!
