Here I am, a hungry English-Canadian, in the most random part of town while visiting Quebec City. I drove by this place and noticed it had a full parking lot and a lot of people around. I thought to myself this is a good sign. As soon as I walked in, the place was busy and it was clear it was popular with locals. To start, I ordered the pea soup and it was delicious. It had little bits of pork in it and was rich but still very flavorful. The pizza seemed to be popular so i got a mini one with a cesar salad. It was very good. The dough itself tasted fresh and was fluffy, but it still held the toppings really well and was perfectly baked. I was told the locals put butter on the pizza crust so I gave it a try and it was surpringly good. The salad was nice too, crisp leaves, perfect amount of dressing and REAL bacon! My waiter was very polite and welcoming. I don’t speak French very well and there was a bit of a language barrier, but I still felt very well taken care of. The whole experience felt genuine and I’m really glad I stopped in.
