This is one of those perfect restaurants. The attention and love put into each dish is astounding. The service is cool calm and collected - never in a rush and timed perfectly. Please go if you have the chance.

We ordered 6 dishes to share. We started off nicely. The first 4 dishes arrived in a timely manner for a nicely paced meal. The last 2 “hot dishes” arrived at 20 to 25 min intervals. What was a nice enjoyable evening, turned into a disappointing evening. It goes without saying, after the long wait for the first hot dish, all we wanted to do was get out of there. We had 2 glasses of wine each. We were not there to drink. We were there to enjoy the cuisine. When we it became obvious that we were not interested in more wine, the server looked after those beside us but would not even look at us. A difficult feat since we were seated at the bar. We got a “sorry for the delay” on the last dish, that was it. So maybe it was a bad night I don’t know. Food was great once it arrived. Also it gets loud in there. Maybe it was our location. I would have expected at least the last dish complementary. That was our experience. Not interested in returning. We expected more. I really hope this was a one off for us as the cuisine was wonderful.

Went there for dinner last night, good atmosphere, we did the tasting menu which was good, lots of interesting flavours and creative dishes. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because they brought the last main which was lamb made 3 ways and there was barely any meat on the plate…we may have gotten 1-1.5 bites of meat each of the plate which was disappointing. Otherwise good experience.

We had a great experience at Limbo restaurant in Barcelona, thanks in large part to Karim. From the moment we arrived, he was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made us feel comfortable straight away and struck the perfect balance between being professional and personable. Karim was knowledgeable about the menu, gave helpful recommendations, and made sure everything was just right throughout our visit. Nothing felt rushed, and he checked in at all the right times without being overbearing. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and really cares about the customer experience. Service like that makes a big difference, and Karim definitely elevated our evening. We’d happily return and would hope to be looked after by him again.

We had a table of 4 and all got the choix du chef (price fixe ~$100 per person). They brought out 5-6 dishes for us all to share, and the food was like fine but it’s nothing special, not worth the cost in any way. Service etc was fine but inequitable in terms of portions .. table next 2 us was 2 ppl on price fixe menu and they received the exact same amount of food… despite us having double the number of people and paying twice as much..! Weird behaviour and left me concerned about the owners liquidity..

What a lovely experience. Owners present and clearly love what they are doing. We had chefs tasting menu and food was creative and delicious ( classic French inspiration). Great vibe, happy smiling staff. Loved it. Will return

This establishment was by far the best restaurant experience I've ever had. It was an absolute pleasure to witness and experience a high level of service. Definitely would recommend this to anyone and everyone. Well done chef.

We just had an absolute brilliant meal at Limbo… perfect night… Snowy Montreal…. Cozy dim lit restaurant… The service was immaculate… very attentive, when reading the menu to us, they painted a description of each dish… We ended up ordering 6 plates… annnnnnd… Tough to pick a favourite because not a single dish was a miss, but the beef tongue was the standout for us… bananas.. so good. We will definitely return with anticipation…

Extremely STRONG 5 ⭐️ recommendation! Everything about our dinner was great: - service: the welcoming and the service all along the dinner was present, caring, efficient - food: excellent. We tried the chef’s menu: an interesting mix of techniques, selected ingredients, creativity, balanced flavors and textures 👏 - atmosphere: nice decor, modern design, comfortable seating Last but not least: fair prices for the quality served. 2 feedbacks for the kitchen: (1) we couldn’t taste the truffle in the cheese, (2) the potato does not pair well with the fish (I’d have preferred mashed or grilled vegetables)
