It's so dark here that it hurts my eyes. They have lights, but when I asked the server, they said they don't wont turn it on. TV screens are excessively bright and damage your eyes. Customers are free to tip as they please. At first the server was rude and when I gave her a small tip, she told me to not come back next time. Avoid this place.

Hi Louis, It sounds like you had a rough experience. We are a sports pub. The space has set lighting and the TVs are there for sports. Obviously, our setting is not for you. I wouldn't say to not come back, but if you did you could expect the same lighting and environment. As per the tip and our server, there are two stories. Your's is clear and explains everything, even there's. Sorry, we won't change what we have been known for and what the majority of our customers have asked for over the past 30 years. Excellent place to watch the football Champions League final. We could sit outside and see the screen clearly. Staff worked hard as very busy. They served Guinness Zero. Fish and chips were ok it’s a large portion with crispy batter.

Went there for a habs game. Cock roaches literally ran right on the bar in front of me. Dry, crappy wings. I couldn't eat, because roach grossed me out

This pub is fantastic! We were in town for a conference end of April, and this place quickly became a "go-to" for us. The service was always quick and efficient, which was no small feat because it was always packed and we were always in large groups. On one particular night it was so busy we were seated upstairs. Nez and Ricardo were amazing. There was not an empty seat but both of these gentlemen made sure that our glasses were never empty. At the end of the night I specifically asked for their names so I could leave this review. Outstanding pub. Outstanding service!

Came here for the Habs game and the place erupted when there was a goal. This is playoff hockey and this was a great spot to watch an away game. Great service, pub fare that you expect and a great atmosphere for a chill evening. Definitely come here for a beer and a Habs game!

What a great atmosphere for a playoff game. I got there early and had a lovely meal - good pub food. I picked the plate clean. On days like that, you may not find a seat if you don't go early. Guiness was delicious, as were the Jamesons. Service was excellent from the bartender and he was busy. 10/10 would go for a beer or a game again if I'm in town.

We stopped into McLean’s Pub because my fiancé loves a good Irish pub, and even though it was a random, quiet afternoon, it ended up being such a memorable stop. We ended up chatting with our bartender, Angie, and she was truly the best. We had just gotten engaged the day before, and she went out of her way to celebrate with us, she even wrote us a handwritten list of her favorite local recommendations. We had a few amazing dinners thanks to her list! She made us feel so welcomed and genuinely excited, and it ended up being one of the first places we got to celebrate our engagement. Such a special experience thanks to her.
