We love to go there for the dim sum.
Delicious as always
Not sure why this place has such bad reviews, came with the family and everything was delicious & the service was amazing.
Looking for a quick, delicious hot lunch at a great price? Their dim sum is a must-try — absolutely love it!
Beautiful place! Great service! Delicious food! First time here & I'll definitely be back soon! A must try!
Very nice and decorated restaurant that is also very busy ! We made reservations and were seated quickly :) We had Har Gow, Siu Mai, Sautéed lamb with cumin, Assorted Vegetables, and Singapore noodles and it was beyond delicious ❤️ They have dim sum all day with an extensive menu and we cannot wait to come back to try more items in this 11/10 restaurant ❤️ UPDATE: Went back and even had clams and as always, excellent food and service 😇 MORE UPDATES: Went for brunch and loved all the Dim Sum options ❤️❤️ No reservations to be made in advance but you use an online QR code to order the brunch items and once again really enjoyed the best food and fantastic fast service 🙏🙏 MORE UPDATES: Went for Chinese New Year and loved the decor and the food and the service as always 🎉🎉😇😇
The place was packed! Shrimp dumpling were very good! The general tao and peanut butter dumplings were okay, not the best in the world but very satisfying and certainly hit the spot. Great pricing and service! Ill be back!
The waiter and manager tried to hustle our table saying the tip was not big enough, and that leaving a larger tip was the law. A law which does not exist. This is extortion through guilt and false pretense. Food was good but service was very slow. The waiters stink of cigarettes and there were fruit flies and black flies in the restaurant, I doubt the level of cleanliness of this establishment.
Great dim sum.
Best place for dim sum in the west Island
Great food and service
Sad to say i won't go back. Great decline in quality, service, food temperature, tea temperature. Even reading the menu was difficult as the details are not translated and there are no possibilities of editing anything for allegies etc. Had a waiter lie to my face when asked about the way a dish is cooked. Just say you dont cook therefore you don't know - instead of lying. Overall, sadly, I am disappointed and that's my last visit there.
If you're aiming to eat big without worrying about going to the bathroom in the next hour, this is it. Chinese food in my opinion taste a tad bit too salty but the Imperial chefs serves their dishes with just the right amount. Friendly staff as well. Would commend for large groups. AND THE ANIME PLAYING ON THE WALLS. *CHEF'S KISS*
Had a big banquet for 10 aunties here. Food is generous. The most impressive part is the service. The waiters and waitresses were so elegant and polite, kind and gentle to all the aunties. Definitely recommend
Went with 2 other people. Definitely a place for large groups. Food is delicious and served in large portions; to be shared amongst the people at your table. Hallway to the Bathroom is a bit sketchy. Lots of free parking.
Very good place good price fast service
Overall excellent food.
A full dim sum spread, built for indulgence. Silky shrimp dumplings, juicy siu mai crowned with roe, crispy spring rolls, tender rice noodle rolls glazed in soy, golden fried squid, braised ribs, and sticky chicken feet, all steaming in bamboo baskets, ready to share. Every bite: soft, crisp, savory, rich. The kind of table that disappears faster than you expect. 🥢 #RestaurantImperial #Montreal
Restaurant Impérial - Pointe-Claire Avoid this restaurant like the plague… Had the ABSOLUTE WORST experience yesterday afternoon! Went in at 14h15 for a quick late lunch… scanned the QR code that they provided to order the Daily Lunch Special for $8.95, the Cantonese-Style Crispy Noodles. Five minutes later, a waiter comes up to tell me there’s no more. I asked, what do you mean there’s no more… lunch is from 10h00 to 15h00?? He said the manager stopped the special as it is Lunar New Year Week. I retorted by pointing out that New Year’s Day is tomorrow, not today! I asked to speak to the Owner which he refused, I demanded to speak to the Manager… as I waited, the couple at the table next to me expressed the same exasperation ordering the same daily special today. The manager (pictured below) refused to honor their special clearly available to order on their menu system and refused to allow me to speak with the Owner. He threw me out of the restaurant as I voiced that I would make a complaint to the Head Office at the Brossard location, go on Social Media to share their unethical business practices and file a formal complaint with the OPC!! This establishment has been less than stellar since the very beginning during their soft opening when menu items were unavailable to order, short staff both in the kitchen and dining room, extremely long waits for your orders to be served, very unprofessional management team including but not limited to the Manager pictured below! And to top it off, their food isn’t even anything special, bland taste at best… OBVIOUSLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!
Their service is poor, and they expect a 20% tip. If you don't give it, they'll say, “the service is always like this, and if you don’t like it, don’t come back! We will black list you!” I calmly replied, “ok, I won’t come back.” Somehow, my indifferent attitude upset them, and the male manager confronted me and my husband, shouting at us. This place is a complete circus. I suspect they've already blacklisted many residents of West Island. We definitely need another dim sum restaurant to compete with this terrible place.
Extremely poor service!! The place was half empty on a Friday night at 7h00 and they could not be bothered coming to our table (small group of 6) to offer us water and/or ask if we wanted to purchase beer or wine to go with our food. Also, we kept a menu to order a second round of food, but they never came back after the first service to ask if we still wanted to order more. Oh, and they don't want to make separate bills, it's one bill per table and you figure it out amongst yourselves after. It says it on each menu, only one bill per table!!! We will never going back...
100% nope
I would give a “0” if there was one. I went to pickup an UE food order for a client on St Valentine day and the manager pointed at me very arrogantly in front of the big line up of customers waiting for picking up their orders with his finger as If I was his dog. Few mins later a nice person next that was speaking in british accent went to inquire on his late order and the owner told him off, his wife started saying rude rude in a loud voice as they got very made, I hope he steps in and share his negative experience. Another kid comes in and accuses me that I was blocking the way when I became angry and started asking to be treated as humans and with respect, a young lady came in and hit me in the shoulder and right away that kid took her side and pointed his finger to my head saying do not scream at my girlfriend, I was not even talking to her. I cancelled the order and left. I will file in a police report, hopefully they will get a big fine and license sudpended, very arogant, rude, disrespectful management.
