Very bad service, especially the one in the glass room, she is so rude ! She let me waiting so long to pay then show bad face to me when I pay 13% tip.

This is my go-to place whenever I want family tea and dim sum. Dim sum is my favorite, and I keep coming back for it. The food is good, the service is friendly, and the prices feel fair for a shared family meal. The one dish I would skip is the sticky rice, which has been too oily and a bit salty and too sweet. There is enough seating for a group, and parking is manageable. It gets crowded fast, so I recommend going as soon as they open.

We were the first customers of the day, and my wife and I were seated at the darkest table in the corner of the restaurant. We politely asked if we could sit at another available table, but we were told that the other tables were reserved for parties of four. I understood and accepted that explanation. However, about 10 minutes later, two other couples came in and were seated at much better tables that had been available. This made us feel uncomfortable and question why we were treated differently. I cannot say for certain whether it was because we are not Chinese, but the difference in how we were seated was noticeable and left us with that impression. I hope the restaurant can provide a consistent and fair seating policy for all customers, regardless of their background.

We arrived early, but we were seated in the darkest corner of the restaurant. It was so dark that we asked if there was another table available. We were told that since there were only two of us, the only options were that table or a table near the entrance. What was frustrating was that other parties of two who arrived after us were given much better seats. The food also took a very long time to come out, and the servers were not very attentive or welcoming. Overall, the experience was disappointing, especially considering that we arrived early and still ended up with the worst table.

Attended a wedding dinner here. Service was great, staff was able to communicate with me in English which was very helpful given my weak French abilities. The food was quick to arrive but paced out well that we didn’t feel rushed nor need to ration our bites

Disappointing and unacceptable experience. I have visited this restaurant before with my parents, speaking Cantonese, and received fine service. However, during my recent visit with my Mauritian in-laws (who look Chinese but speak English), the staff’s attitude was night and day compared to how they treated Cantonese-speaking tables. Throughout the night, our servers were rude, impolite, and impatient, while providing friendly, attentive service to the table right next to us. The discrimination became undeniable at dessert: we were initially served basic orange slices, while the table next to us received traditional Chinese tapioca dessert. When we asked for equal treatment, the waiter only brought enough tapioca for half of our table—clear evidence they gave our portion away to the other table. Little did the staff know, I actually speak fluent Cantonese. It is deeply frustrating to realize this restaurant treats customers differently based on the language they speak. Service should be equal for everyone, regardless of language. I will not be returning. This is probably one of the reasons why Kam Fung has a busier dinner service. They treat every customer with the same level of respect.

We went to dim sum early in the morning and our qr code wasnt working. My husband and i tried multiple times on our phone and the the waiter tried as well. He even tried to give us a new one and it still didnt work. He offered us to order by paper. We got our order and then we wanted more so we asked or another paper in which the waitress gave us attitude about not being able to order on the app and was like well it works now so order shoving her phone at us showing that it worked now.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was okay but the lady that served us for the first half of the meal was horrible, we were clearly disturbing her, no water for the children,, no hot hot water for the sake, when we were about to ask her utensils other than chopsticks her response was "What do you want?". After a talk with the manager the service improved but wasn't incredible. There where 18 of us at 2 different tables, what I found most despicable was that we where celebrating the death of a loved one and the restaurant had been highly recommended by a member of our family, we will give them another chance but it better be worth it or we aren't going to be going back!

Éric, I'm sorry. A meal for eighteen people after losing someone in your family should have been handled with a lot more care than that, and it wasn't. No water for the kids, no hot water for the sake, and being spoken to that way when you asked for utensils — none of that is acceptable, we'd like to hear the rest of it directly: [email protected]. This is the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. They clearly do not understand the meaning of basic respect and customer service. Despite having a reservation, we were completely ignored upon arrival. The man at the front desk had his back turned to the customers, focused on a tablet instead of welcoming guests. He ignored us for over 10 minutes. When my husband tried to talk to him and let him know that we had a reservation, he made a hand gesture to tell him to stop talking and continued to ignore us. Another employee eventually came and showed us to our table, but did not provide menus or water. We tried several times to get the attention of the servers, but they continued to ignore us. It took 30 minutes just to receive a menu and another 40 minutes before anyone took our order. We had to ask for everything ourselves. The staff appeared nonchalant and visibly bothered by our presence. The atmosphere was extremely unpleasant and stressful. The food was bland, basic, and overpriced. To make matters worse, they added the tip themselves without asking us or giving us the opportunity to choose the amount we wanted to leave. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Shanghai noodles was ok, not that different from other places. Chicken with nuts was very different from the ones i had before. Usually its chunky chicken pieces with soy based sauce. This one is flat pieces with chicken with a transparent sauce. I didnt like this style as much, tasted kind of bland. Portions and prices very average too.
