Shout out to our server Amanda and the Cappello team for going above and beyond and for making our evening incredibly special. 5 stars all around and the view is amazing.

Absolute amazing ! 10/10 burrata I still think about it Amazing pasta kinda wish the portions were bigger other than that, everything was top notch loved the service as well with the pretty view of the city
Great service and awesome view
We went to Cappello for lunch and amazing! The Caesar salad is a classic that never disappoints, and the pasta with vodka sauce was so good. The table d’hôte comes with focaccia, and you can even add a dessert — yes, please! Everything was absolutely delicious, and the view… wow!! I’m definitely coming back, like ASAP!
We were out celebrating a colleagues birthday. There was a little screw-up with the online reservation but thankfully it was mid week and they were gracious to accommodate us. The atmosphere was great, we had a wonderful table and the view was spectacular. I have just one comment about tables facing a wall, and it goes for most restaurant designs, they should always have a mirror on the back wall so everyone feels part of the atmosphere. Nobody wants to ever face a wall, change that and everyone is happy and feels part of the vibe. The food was great, but our experience with the staff was the highlight of the evening. Thank you to Luca for taking great care of us and especially singing a wonderful Happy Bday song at the table... he was great, don't listen to other guests who said the opposite. I definitely would return, if not just for Luca ;)
This place is so incredible! My spouse took me here for my birthday and I’m so glad this is what they chose. Food was incredible, the space is so pretty with great views of the city, and the service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and quick. We’ll definitely be coming here again!
To start with, my experience here was great—the service was amazing. My only concern was the food selection. As someone who is allergic to pork, I found there were only one or two options available for me. That said, the pasta I had was absolutely delicious. For dessert, out of four options, I could only choose one because the others contained alcohol, which was a bit disappointing. Unfortunately, the gelato I ordered was really bad, and I didn’t like it at all. Overall, it was a good experience, but it could be even better with more food options that do not include pork or alcohol.
Temptation tattoo!!! (Luca) gave us immaculate service, great atmosphere, and stunning views
Luca made our night! Cappello’s vibe is 11/10 thanks to Luca. We’re soooo “tempted” to come back 🤏🏼🩷
Went for drinks and tiramisu! Truly enjoyed the whole experience. We felt welcome from the first moment (lovely long brown haired lady at the door) untill leaving the restaurant. Carl from the bar was amazing and made me one of the best margaritas in my life! Great views and vibe. Would come again to try the food!:)) thanks!
Shotout to bar manager Carl for great cocktails and service. My companion said that her margarita was the best one she has ever had. Carl surprised her with fruity margharita with a touch of spice and smokey flavour. Beautiful scenery and great vibes. I highly recommend!
Absolutely beautiful food was great
My husband and I had heard great things about this restaurant, so we decided to try it for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing, and the service was just as impressive. Selina, our waitress for the evening, was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was absolutely worth the price. We had such a great experience and will definitely be coming back!
I had a great experience at Cappello. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the service was quick and professional. I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back again!
Spectacular.
There’s a fine line between creativity and confusion in the kitchen, and unfortunately, @capellomontreal leaned a little too enthusiastically toward the latter. Italian cuisine has always had a quiet confidence about it — simple ingredients, balanced flavors, and dishes that don’t need a long explanation to shine. Here, however, it felt as though every plate was determined to overdo it… Take the burrata, for example. A lovely ingredient on its own, creamy and delicate. It arrived accompanied by gnocco fritto (deep-fried dough) and a balsamic that somehow tasted like it contained soy. Why? Your guess is as good as mine. It was one of several moments where the food felt “creative for the sake of being creative,” rather than harmonious. The pinsa wasn't much better. The crust had a burnt bread taste, topped with pepperoni that tasted suspiciously like it had taken a detour through Costco, and any promised garlic flavor also seemed to have gotten lost somewhere along the way. For our main, we had Radiatori Vodka Piccante. The vodka sauce, which contained sweet breadcrumbs — an unexpected plot twist — and tasted oddly like something that might have come from a jar rather than a simmering pot, also lacked the "Piccante" part. Dessert brought us a tiny $18 tiramisu that appeared to have been extended with extra cream, arrived slightly hard as if freshly thawed, and for reasons unknown, contained chocolate chunks. Not offensive, just… puzzling. Service also had a slightly frantic energy. Within the first ten minutes of sitting down, we were visited three times — including once within the first thirty seconds asking if we were ready to order. At 5:30 p.m., with the restaurant nearly empty, it felt less like attentiveness and more like we might be gently encouraged to eat quickly and move along. Add to that a few small but noticeable details — shaky tables and water glasses that weren’t quite clean when we sat — and the overall experience didn’t quite match the price point. The plating was also surprisingly simple for dishes positioned at this level. In the end, one can’t help but wonder if the prices are influenced more by the view and the high-rent location than by what arrives on the plate. Our rating is higher than it should be due to the fact that the cocktails were pretty solid. Same bar as the other two restaurants above it. We would reccomend skipping all three for food, and just drink at the bar instead.
Diavolo was yummy
Super expensive. Good quality food . Service is excellent because they rush you out. We had a reservation at 7 and they were already kicking us out at 8 . The restaurant was empty. They also placed us between 2 other couples.if u want like a bit of privacy impossible. Super small portions
Few places combine friendliness and a great atmosphere with excellent cuisine. Thank you so much!
Is crazy how good is this restaurant ✨ a whole experience, the service amazing! Food so good that I can’t wait to come again 🥰 the view is beautiful and the decoration is super cozy!
The food is amazing, we loved every dish. Hope the restaurant will update the menu regularly!
Beautiful setting, but very underwhelming food. Pasta was bland, and the veal tartare was covered in cheese and seated on a brioche so you did not taste the tartare at all. Drinks were good however.
I came here for my birthday a few days ago and here are my comments. This resto is where Enfants Terrible used to be and on the positive, it has a great views of the city and a nice ambiance at night. I made a reservation. The menu is ok, it could be more interesting for the prices but I took the most expensive thing, the ribs in the sauce with the fries. I liked the taste but it could have been better presented, it was really hard to cut with all the fat on it and on the bone like that, I didn't like that. Cesar salad was good but not enough toppings were on it. The salmon plate was good. The service was good, the guy came semi-regularly. Overall, worth a one-time visit but not something I'd come back to regularly.
Was pleasantly surprised, was expecting an overhyped restaurant because of beautiful view. Food was quiet tasty, playlist was really vibing (r&b 00s), nice atmosphere. Best dishes: steak, veal tonnato, radiatori spicy pasta and tiramisu (different but very tasty)
Fantastic evening at Cappello! We were two couples and had an amazing time. The food was outstanding, the cocktails were delicious and perfectly balanced, and the wine list offered is packed with excellent selections. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the city and great music, creating a wonderful atmosphere. We really enjoyed our night and will definitely be back!
