Went for drinks and tiramisu! Truly enjoyed the whole experience. We felt welcome from the first moment (lovely long brown haired lady at the door) untill leaving the restaurant. Carl from the bar was amazing and made me one of the best margaritas in my life! Great views and vibe. Would come again to try the food!:)) thanks!

Shotout to bar manager Carl for great cocktails and service. My companion said that her margarita was the best one she has ever had. Carl surprised her with fruity margharita with a touch of spice and smokey flavour. Beautiful scenery and great vibes. I highly recommend!

My husband and I had heard great things about this restaurant, so we decided to try it for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing, and the service was just as impressive. Selina, our waitress for the evening, was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was absolutely worth the price. We had such a great experience and will definitely be coming back!

There’s a fine line between creativity and confusion in the kitchen, and unfortunately, @capellomontreal leaned a little too enthusiastically toward the latter. Italian cuisine has always had a quiet confidence about it — simple ingredients, balanced flavors, and dishes that don’t need a long explanation to shine. Here, however, it felt as though every plate was determined to overdo it… Take the burrata, for example. A lovely ingredient on its own, creamy and delicate. It arrived accompanied by gnocco fritto (deep-fried dough) and a balsamic that somehow tasted like it contained soy. Why? Your guess is as good as mine. It was one of several moments where the food felt “creative for the sake of being creative,” rather than harmonious. The pinsa wasn't much better. The crust had a burnt bread taste, topped with pepperoni that tasted suspiciously like it had taken a detour through Costco, and any promised garlic flavor also seemed to have gotten lost somewhere along the way. For our main, we had Radiatori Vodka Piccante. The vodka sauce, which contained sweet breadcrumbs — an unexpected plot twist — and tasted oddly like something that might have come from a jar rather than a simmering pot, also lacked the "Piccante" part. Dessert brought us a tiny $18 tiramisu that appeared to have been extended with extra cream, arrived slightly hard as if freshly thawed, and for reasons unknown, contained chocolate chunks. Not offensive, just… puzzling. Service also had a slightly frantic energy. Within the first ten minutes of sitting down, we were visited three times — including once within the first thirty seconds asking if we were ready to order. At 5:30 p.m., with the restaurant nearly empty, it felt less like attentiveness and more like we might be gently encouraged to eat quickly and move along. Add to that a few small but noticeable details — shaky tables and water glasses that weren’t quite clean when we sat — and the overall experience didn’t quite match the price point. The plating was also surprisingly simple for dishes positioned at this level. In the end, one can’t help but wonder if the prices are influenced more by the view and the high-rent location than by what arrives on the plate. Our rating is higher than it should be due to the fact that the cocktails were pretty solid. Same bar as the other two restaurants above it. We would reccomend skipping all three for food, and just drink at the bar instead.

Super expensive. Good quality food . Service is excellent because they rush you out. We had a reservation at 7 and they were already kicking us out at 8 . The restaurant was empty. They also placed us between 2 other couples.if u want like a bit of privacy impossible. Super small portions

Beautiful setting, but very underwhelming food. Pasta was bland, and the veal tartare was covered in cheese and seated on a brioche so you did not taste the tartare at all. Drinks were good however.

I came here for my birthday a few days ago and here are my comments. This resto is where Enfants Terrible used to be and on the positive, it has a great views of the city and a nice ambiance at night. I made a reservation. The menu is ok, it could be more interesting for the prices but I took the most expensive thing, the ribs in the sauce with the fries. I liked the taste but it could have been better presented, it was really hard to cut with all the fat on it and on the bone like that, I didn't like that. Cesar salad was good but not enough toppings were on it. The salmon plate was good. The service was good, the guy came semi-regularly. Overall, worth a one-time visit but not something I'd come back to regularly.

Was pleasantly surprised, was expecting an overhyped restaurant because of beautiful view. Food was quiet tasty, playlist was really vibing (r&b 00s), nice atmosphere. Best dishes: steak, veal tonnato, radiatori spicy pasta and tiramisu (different but very tasty)

Fantastic evening at Cappello! We were two couples and had an amazing time. The food was outstanding, the cocktails were delicious and perfectly balanced, and the wine list offered is packed with excellent selections. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the city and great music, creating a wonderful atmosphere. We really enjoyed our night and will definitely be back!

I was here last night for a birthday so to start off the cesar salad dressing tasted more like balsamic vinegar instead of cesar dressing.. the vodka pasta sauce was extremely watery and didn’t really have a taste.. we ordered drinks and had to wait atleast over an hour…. The best part of our night was the tiramisu for dessert! Plus when we tried getting our waiters attention to order our main meal he told us he has to go see another group first.. This is not restaurant I would come back too.. I have had better pasta and definitely better cesar salad!

Wow. This place is gorgeous. Easily one of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve ever been to. Way bigger than i thought as well!We luckily got sat at a table with the direct view of the city!Food was very good. All of our appetizers were a hit, especially the meatballs. The ceasar salad’s croutons and bacon were amazing. The focaccia paired with the remaining sauce from the meatballs was to die for. We got our appetizers quickly. For our pasta, it took a while to receive. They truly were amazing though! Both so flavourful and rich. The cavatelli is their newest pasta addition and i could recommend it more. We were so full though, we packaged it up after only a couple bites!Unfortunately the only let down was the tiramisu for me. I usually like my tiramisus with the perfect blend of coffee and chocolate flavours, but this was extremely chocolatey with almonds. Flavour was good, but not what i like in tiramisus.Service was good. Like i said, just took pretty long for the pastas, and we had to flag down our waiter for the bill as it was taking quite a while. Our waiter Kevin had excellent enthusiasm & recommendations! This restaurant is perfect for celebrating. Birthdays with big groups, anniversaries, buisness dinners, etc.And like i said, the restaurant is truly breathtaking! And the music was at a perfect volume.

Absolutely incredible service and experience! We went on Valentine’s Day without a reservation, fully expecting to be turned away, but Luca went above and beyond to make sure our night was still special. Even though there was no room at Cappello initially, he personally walked us downstairs to Sora 45, where another wonderful gentleman took great care of us and found us a table. Later in the evening, Luca somehow managed to get us a table back upstairs at Cappello. Truly exceptional hospitality. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the atmosphere was perfect, and the service made us feel genuinely valued. We both had amazing pasta dishes and delicious cocktails. A perfect night thanks to an outstanding team. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you Luca and our waitress Selena :)

A Montréal restaurant with unbeatable views and amazing service! If you are looking for the perfect Saturday night spot in Montréal, then Cappello is a must-visit. My friends and I had an incredible experience that balanced a high-end atmosphere with truly warm hospitality. The Atmosphere & View: The first thing you’ll notice is the stunning panoramic view of the city. Whether you’re seated by the window or grabbing a drink at the bar, the vibe is sophisticated yet lively. It’s easily one of the best atmospheres in the city for a night out! The Food & Drinks: We explored a variety of the menu, and nothing disappointed: • The Pasta: We tried both the Gnocchi (so pillow-soft!) and the Spaghetti. Both were cooked to perfection. • Chicken Parm: Crispy, flavorful, and a total crowd-pleaser. • The Standout: They served what I can confidently say is the best Tiramisu I’ve had in this city (so far). You cannot leave without ordering it! • Cocktails/Mocktails: The drink menu is creative and beautifully presented. Amazing Service! A massive shoutout to our waiter, Alessandro. He was the highlight of our evening! He was extremely professional and kind. One of my friends doesn’t eat pork or anything cooked with alcohol, and Alessandro went above and beyond to accommodate her, offering thoughtful options and ensuring she had a great meal. While the service was a bit slow due to the Saturday rush, the staff more than made up for it with their incredible hospitality. It’s rare to find a place that cares this much about the guest experience. Final Verdict: a solid 9/10. We’ll absolutely be coming back. If you’re a local Montrealer or just visiting, put this on your list!

Cappello made for a lovely evening, with beautiful views that immediately set the mood. We started with a white fish carpaccio that was delicately seasoned, followed by parmesan chicken and salads that were flavorful, and nicely balanced. The food was excellent, and the wine list offered plenty of good options to pair with the meal. Service was welcoming, and while it’s definitely on the pricier side, the combination of great dishes, nice wine, and scenic setting made it feel like a special experience worth splurging on.
