I love this place for the vibe and the professional cast. I've been coming here every so often but as of lately I've been trying their food menu. im a food critic cause my sister is a professional Chef and I can not lie this play has some one the best foot around especially for a bar

Nice pub 👌 Great service 👏 Awesome atmosphere
Staff was very friendly. Finger food was very good. Service was a little slow as the place was packed. Would go back again
I had an amazing experience at Pub St Pierre. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a perfect mix of cozy charm and lively energy that makes it a great spot for a night out and watching a Habs game all together! What really made the visit stand out was the service, especially from Jesse. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. Her recommendations were spot on, and she made sure everything was perfect throughout the evening without ever being overbearing. SHE DESERVES ALL THE POINTS.
Great beers, phenomenal food! But the service is what stood out! Our waitress Jesse was absolutely phenomenal and we hope to see her again when we return!
Really excellent, traditional and cosy pub in the heart of Montreal old town. Great value happy hour, including a very solid selection of beers and wines and $2 oysters with fresh horseradish and delicious vinaigrette. Top notch. Highly recommend.
First of the ambience and the staff is amazing. The poutine was good. I also ordered some olives with humus and chips. Humus was nothing like it and chips are just market stuff. But the pub itself and personnel are lovely. Go try!
Fantastic little pub with great fish and chips!
Great vibe, busy Sunday spot. We had Mac N cheese and steak frites. The bavette steak cooked medium rare was great. Still full 3 hrs later.
Best pint of Guinness in montreal!
Loved the spot, decoration, cosiness Service was great And the do happy hour 4-7 I can have like 2 dollars oysters. Fish and chips was delicious Wife had the lobster sandwich which we found too salty. Fortunately the waitress offered to replace it or order another thing. Music is very low, so it s more of a place to chat and have conversations.
This place is amazing! Great food, good prices, and service is always friendly. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a fantastic happy hour or pub in the Old Port.
Pub St-Pierre is our go-to spot whenever we’re in Old Montreal. If you’re looking for a true local vibe paired with great food, this is it. The menu is absolutely delicious without any pretension. My personal favourite is the steak tartare—available during dinner service and always a must. Whether you’re in the mood for a pint, a cocktail, or even a mocktail, you won’t be disappointed at Pub St-Pierre. ♥
Pub St Pierre is my go to spot in old Montreal. Great food, cocktails and great service and a cozy vibe!
Writing a review as I see another recent similar reviewer about a similar case and this could be a trend to be watchful of. I went to this pub recently and got a drink and appetizers, including oysters. Later that night I got severe food poisoning, which took the whole weekend to fully recover from, and my friend had a similar experience. I advise the pub and future clients to be careful. I had no problem with the service, but this was a very unfortunate outcome, hence my 1 stars.
The place is very nice, our waiter very friendly. I came with a friend and we both ordered a cocktail as well as 6 oysters to share. After 3 oysters and half my drink, my stomach hurt so much I told her to finish my alcohol. Later that night, at 3AM my friend had food poisoning until the next day. I think the oysters might have been bad. For that despite everything else positive, I can only give one star.
Came in for a work 5 a 7 with colleagues. We were told that our reservation was valid for 2-hours (so far so good). About 5 mins after we were served a fresh round of drinks (close to the 2-hour mark), the staff came and told us we had to leave the table immediately. Our beers were still completely full so we asked the staff what to do if we were literally being kicked out of the table, they told us to stand up in the corridor (outside the toilets, in the way of staff coming in and out of the kitchen). We ended up walking out to finish our drinks (the 10C night somehow felt warmer than the cold treatment we got from the staff!), this caused yet another discussion with the staff. Never coming back! I've really enjoyed sharing this anecdote with everyone I know... as people say: "your customers are your best advertisers!" interestingly, as I've shared this story with other colleagues and friends, many people have told me that the same thing happened to them! Sloppy strategy Pub Saint Pierre, particularly when your clientele is made of local working people, who, like us, organize work gatherings often... we will continue to do this, just not at your pub!
What a phenomenal place, cosy and delicious beverages and atmosphere. The staff was fun and made me want to go back (which I did}. The bar is small but never had any issues with seating or service. The customers around us were also a pleasure, and when I mentioned where we went to people, every local was like.. Oh yeah good bar. Bonus info. The bathrooms are worth visiting for the decour. Wonderful place
Good old fashioned pub. Trust when I say that you won't be disappointed.
Poutine was okay, gravy was underwhelming, fries were a bit overdone. Service was good.
We had a dozen oysters and poutine, I would highly recommend both. The bartender was friendly and provided great service. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for at the time.
We went to Pub St Pierre as a group of 7 for brunch over the weekend and had a great experience. Our server was prompt, took care of our guest with dietary restrictions, and ensured everyone was well taken care of! Food was great and we had no complaints! I gave 4 stars for atmosphere solely because the music was way too loud for a brunch service, otherwise everything was very clean and inviting!
This pub had great food and truly excellent service. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and made us feel very welcome from start to finish. The atmosphere was the perfect chill pub vibe — relaxed, cozy, and a great place to unwind and enjoy a meal or drinks. Everything we ordered was delicious and came out just right. It is a little on the pricey side for what it is, but the quality of the food and the outstanding service definitely made it worth the visit. Overall, a really enjoyable experience and a great spot to spend an evening
We had a really nice group brunch at this relaxed and comfortable venue---an excellent place to visit for Saturday brunch with an excellent diverse menu.
Great vibe, great happy hour!
