We went for dinner at Nikkei even though it wasn’t our first choice. We had to cancel another reservation and ended up going there on a whim. What a wonderful discovery. We chose the chef’s surprise menu and the chef truly impressed us. The flavors built beautifully from start to finish. The scallops in the curry sauce were sublime, this is a must try. The entire staff was attentive and kind. A restaurant you absolutely have to go to!

I highly suggest sitting at the bar with Chami, he was the best and made our experience so much better! The food is excellent, bravo to the cooks (Alejandro & victor), we had an amazing time. Everyone is so nice and the place is amazing! GIVE THEM A RAISE! 🫶🏼

What an experience. Sitting down at Nikkei Montréal and letting Chef Daniel take the lead is truly a journey. Each bite somehow tops the previous one—layered, unexpected, and full of bold yet balanced flavors. The Peruvian–Japanese fusion is executed with so much intention and creativity that you can feel the story behind every dish. This isn’t just a meal, it’s a culinary trip you’ll be thinking about long after the last bite. Absolutely worth the experience.

What a wonderful experience! Super flavorful dishes and incredibly attentive and friendly service! Especially Victor behind the sushi counter, who went above and beyond 🥹✨ I'd highly recommend the maracuya pisco which was super tasty and the cocoviche was unique and fantastic!!
