Simply in love ❤️ The food was amazing and the cocktails were delicious. Huge thank you to Amber, our server, and to Chami (hopefully I got the bartender’s name right if not, blame the cocktails 😅) for the wonderful service!

The taste and creativity of the food is rather good. The very overrated and underdelivered tapas format; its small quantities and asymmetrical format tonforce consumers into buying more, makes this experience highly unpleasant. Nikkei has an opportunity to go against that trend with a good product but instead choose to master its negative aspect. I do not recommend this place. Service for the visit was abisimal, factoring in the hire of uninterested summer staff but asking for a high rating restaurant experience. Order was slow, food aervice was slow, drink order was slow. A bar that gives itself a ttle of "great cocktail" but doesn't have the products to produce standard drinks is a bit difficult to understand. Ambiance was mediocre with a generic playlist of "best of the 2000s" playing on loop indoors, not a care in the world. Totalling 80$ per person for 2 slow drinks and 3 forgettable tapas is frustrating and laughable. Sorry Nikkei. This was not a good experience.

The whole staff were incredible! We had issues picking what to get because everything looked so good and Chani picked some options for us that were just fantastic. 10/10 will be coming back!

Everything about Nikkei was very pleasant — the concept of mixing Peruvian and Japanese cuisine immediately caught my attention. We went for the tasting menu, which includes smaller versions of some of the house specialties. At $63, I think it’s a fair price, considering it’s more of a special experience than something you’d do every week. The highlights for me were the filet mignon and eel appetizers — a real explosion of flavors. The ceviche was delicious, although fairly traditional, with a nice little twist from the crunchy corn. The beef sandwiches tasted a bit like a simple burger, nothing too memorable. The fish was perfectly cooked with an amazing texture and great sides/accompaniments. Same for the meat — super tender, falling apart with the fork. Dessert was probably the weakest part of the night. The tres leches cake was simple but good. The mousse… honestly, I’m not even sure what flavor it was, but I’d describe it as a bit strange 😅 Overall, I definitely recommend the experience. The atmosphere is dark but cozy, and the service was impeccable, especially from Rebecca.

This Peruvian–Japanese spot?? Yeah… it’s dangerous Every bite hits—bright citrus, clean fresh fish, a little kick—just keeps getting better. And the staff? Elite. Chill, sharp, and somehow always one step ahead. No awkward hovering attentive, just vibes and perfect recs. Left full, slightly obsessed, and already planning round two. Great for birthdays! Go. Just go

Visited for the 2nd time last weekend, definitely didn't disappoint. Sat at the bar with Chami, he was very friendly and made tasty cocktails. Got to try one his experimental drinks and it was a hit. The food was incredible, Peruvian and Japanese fusion. The Porchetta stuffed with mushroom was unreal, great portion size, shoutout to Chef Mikey. Won't be my last visit.

Look the place is nice and the service is very good. But I didn't like the food at this place. We got 3 dishes. The eels were ok, I mean the fish tasted good but the rice was just too much and too sticky. It overpowered the eels taste and lingered in your mouth. The Pork on the second dish we got was too hard. Like it was hard to eat. And I have my comments about the other stuff I got. The food is pricey too. Like I got 3 very small dishes and a drink and I paid 120

Food was great, definitely recommend to try. We got too many of the dishes at the same time, it spoiled the taste of the cod and the beef was colder than it should have been. We told the manager afterwards and he took the feedback well. The menu is made to be share but some of the dishes were difficult as they only bring normal cutlery instead of serving spoons, no bowl for a dish with broth. The wine is overpriced and their selection is very small.

Great food with a nice and intimate atmosphere. Given the price and the ambience in which the restaurant presents itself in, I expected better service. The staff was friendly but we ordered the tasting menu for 2 and they did not take the time to walk us through the ingredients and the experience. The food was great though, would go back.
