Terrible service. Food was decent. Tourist trap
When here mid day on a Thursday. Solo dining. Was sat down quickly, I made my decision about what I wanted to eat quickly. Made eye contact with the server she acknowledged me. Waited another twenty minutes and noticed she was taking the order of a couple that was sat down after me. Made I contact with the hostess with a look of confusion. She shrugged. I unfortunately can’t review the food as I got up to leave.
Had lunch here today with a group of 20 people and they were able to accommodate us even though it was last minute. The service was excellent and Jenna was very friendly. The food was great they had really generous portions. Would definitely recommend!
Would give 10 stars if possible. A mix-up led to a last-minute need to accommodate our group of 21 people for a company lunch. Jenna accommodated us immediately, remembered every single order without writing it down, and the food was spectacular and portions generous. Indoor and outdoor (sidewalk in front plus more intimate courtyard) seating only adds to the experience. Highly recommend!
Ate here with a group of 20. Epic food and service. Amazing job by our server Jenna!
Great sangria, great poutine
Wow! This is an impressive poutine, which is a bold statement for a city famous for its poutines. First and foremost, it was delicious!! The portion is huge, the service is great, the outdoor terrace is fantastic and the price is very reasonable for the giant portion of fries, cheese, gravy and smoked meat in the one I ordered. Big menu full of options for everyone, I highly recommend.
Jenna and Luca were able to provide me with excellent service. And the atmosphere was lovely, as it was my first time being in Montreal and first time eating poutine. I would greatly recommend Montreal Poutine to anyone who is looking for a great spot.
Grabbed the Montreal Poutine to go, gotta say it was one of the best poutine I've had. There was a huge line when we first walked by so we went by later, had a shorter line and it went fast. They really serve people quick which is great. Service was excellent they are very polite and helpful with the menu. There aren’t too many tables inside. Would def go back for the montreal poutine! Came topped with lots of meat, pickles and mustard.
Great place! Great food, big portions! It is up a flight of stairs to get to, so keep that in mind.
We waited for fries for 40 minutes and we reminded them twice ??? We never got the fries.. Otherwise beer was good
Casual poutine spot with AWESOME beers
Got tired of it real quick. But I guess if you are a true lover of potatoes this might be the stop for you.
This is a great cozy spot to eat a delicious lunch. I ordered the simplest poutine on the menu and enjoyed it immensely. From the moment we took the stairs up I know we were in for something special. Great food, great atmosphere and great service. I'm told we were lucky not to have a wait this particular day.
First class Poutine and first class service.
It took an hour for us to gemstone our food and another 15 to get the bill
Worst experience as a tourist. We were a group of 12 people made up of 3 families. First of all as we are trying to get into the place we are told to shut the door. I mean at least let us inside first. We were then seated together and after 10 minutes when we were about to order we were told we couldn’t be accommodated as there was too many of us despite the area we were in was very quiet. The Manager was really rude and probably doesn’t like Indian families. She was telling us she couldn’t accommodate us and only changed her tone when she knew I started filming the conversation and then decided to see what she could do. However when we realised she was just standing around we decided to leave and go to another establishment where we spent around 300 CAD and received exceptional service. Avoid this place
Great experience at this restaurant !
This is hands down the best fries I’ve ever had. We’re talking about poutine — and this place takes it to another level. Perfectly crispy, freshly cut fries, rich and flavorful gravy, and fresh cheese that ties everything together — an absolute explosion of taste. On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Honestly, one of the best places I’ve ever tried. Highly, highly recommend — you have to try it!
Generous portions. Bilingual staff. Great poutine. Must try at least once in montreal.
Poutine was not bad, but water is not free??
Good food and portions. Great service
In the heart of Vieux Montreal, this odd s as place to enjoy the famous local poutine. Me? I chose the Putin with smoked meat, and was terrific. You? Well, come, make your choice and share your experience.
Mid restaurant in my opinion. The location was nice, we got seated next to the window so the view was great but the food was so so. The poutine was a bit too salty and the chicken seemed to be cooked for a bit too long.
