My favourite restaurant of Montreal. I come to Montreal 4-5 times a year and nothing comes close to this place. This place is amazing. A must try with amazing food and service.

We had the privilege of dining at this relatively new restaurant in the heart of Old Montreal. Small, intimate setting with highly personalized service. The food is a feast for the tastebuds. Authentic Peruvian dishes with an international twist. We left satisfied and full.

Chef Kolya and his team have created a joyful dining experience at Mezcla. I was lucky to get to chat with them quite a bit and it is clear they care deeply about what they are cooking. I learned about Peruvian food, Quebec ingredients, the restaurant, and more. My highlights were the duck, the mousse dessert, and an excellent cocktail. Get there before word spreads and they are overbooked!

I took a gamble on a blind tasting menu at a brand-new restaurant with very few reviews, booking it for a girls’ night out to celebrate a birthday—and it paid off beautifully. The food was the first revelation. Every course was exceptional, layered with bold, thoughtful flavours that completely won us over. Each dish felt intentional and confident, showcasing both creativity and restraint. The service deserves equal praise. The staff struck that rare balance of being warm, knowledgeable, and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Each dish was explained with care and enthusiasm, and the pacing of the evening felt effortless—attentive, but never rushed. There was a quiet elegance to how well we were looked after. Then there’s the space itself: small, intimate, and inviting without tipping into stuffy or predictable. It’s the kind of room that makes you want to linger. The drinks were well crafted and refreshingly well priced, which only added to the overall sense that this restaurant knows exactly what it’s doing. Right now, it still feels like a hidden gem—but once word gets out, securing a table here is going to be a challenge. If you can, go sooner rather than later.

We had a privilege tonight to dine at Mezcla. It was an unforgettable culinary experience! We had a tasting menu and every course was impeccable! The chef is a true artist, who was able to flawlessly combine different flavours and textures. Each dish was served in a unique way, explained to us by the chef and kept us excited through out the entire evening! My friend decided to choose the wine pairing selection; the sommelier was very knowledgeable and she loved the history behind each selected wine. The service was very attentive but didn't interrupt our conversation. 10 out of 10 experience for any special occasion or a romantic evening! Will definitely return and share my experience with friends and family! Wishing the restaurant team the best of luck!
