I hope this review doesn’t leave a negative impact on the restaurant but rather a place for improvement. It was my first experience today, the sandwich was full of mayonnaise, not garlic and too much salade and fries yet little chicken. After eating it it left me sick in my stomach and decided to pull to the side of the road to write this review. No, the restaurant wasn’t busy, I was the only one there. The chicken was only on the top of the sandwich and the restaurant wasn’t busy was just mayo, fries, and salade. To each his/her own taste and I’m sharing mine. Also, the menu on your Instagram is not accurate, your prices are higher than those listed. It’s a shame!
Reviews / Ratings for Malak Al Tawouk
First time here, and I went with the regular tawouk, which is quite generous in size. The pita was very thick, the garlic sauce lacked flavor, and the chicken was dry. The food also upset my stomach afterward. Overall, it’s not a place I would order from again.
Good sandwiches can be a miss sometimes.
That's the real lebanese taouk. Great service and friendly staff and tasty food. Highly recommended. If you don't like thick bread just tell them 1 or 1.5 pita but be careful with all the ingredients inside the sandwich 1 pita will not be enough to hold :-). And ask them to toast the sandwich on both sides
The tawook sandwich was way better. I was disappointed last time. Bring back the Malak el tawook sandwich I used to eat for 25 years.
Literally the best food I’ve had in Laval.
Authentic Lebanese Street Food. The same taste as in Lebanon. If you like the taste in Lebanon, you will definitely like it in Laval too 😊
I placed an order yesterday that included five large tawook sandwiches, a large fries, and three bottles of water. We waited more than 25 minutes for the order. When we finally received the food, the sandwiches were very cold, the bread was thick and cold, and the chicken had no taste, only the ketchup flavor stood out. I regularly eat at the other Malak Al Tawouk location near downtown and have never had any issues. Unfortunately, yesterday’s the experience at this location was completely disappointing. I also noticed while I was waiting that several other customers also were experiencing issues with their orders. Some had problems with their burgers, others received cold tawouk sandwiches, and one customer even got the wrong sandwich entirely. This was not a good experience, but I want to clarify that I remain a loyal Malak Al Tawouk customer. However, I will not be returning to this particular location based on what happened.
The same Lebanese taste Montreal
My Lebanese friends were all excited when they heard this was opening here. They told me this was one of the top spots in Lebanon. I gave it a few chances and i must say i am Very disappointed. Tasteless and dry. Weak garlic sauce. Usually i need to brush my teeth and have a gum. Here i can make out with my neighbour and she wouldn’t even notice. There are many better options in the area. 2 stars because portions are big and price is fair.
Very disappointing wasted 15$ on a small empty tasteless sandwich . I came to eat the classic tawouk sandwich what happened ???
Delicious, fresh, and truly authentic! Every bite is packed with flavor and made with high-quality ingredients. The chicken is perfectly seasoned and juicy, the garlic sauce is rich and creamy, and everything tastes homemade. Fast service, generous portions, and consistently amazing food every time.
Impeccable service by the lady at the counter. The food is good and in a generous size. The place is very clean and inviting.
They are very poorly organized. The food took so much time to arrive it was not worth it. Also they should remove the window showing their employees, its just frustrating to see them work unenthusiastically.
Best in town ! Feel like home 🇱🇧🇱🇧
Amazing food, staff, price, quality! Defenitly recommend.
Extremely disappointed. The chicken tawook was cold and tasted rancid, and this is not the first time I’ve faced this issue. Ordered the Duo sandwich as well and the quality was equally poor. Very concerning experience—definitely not what I expect from Malak Al Tawook. This is unacceptable and needs immediate attention.
I tried it once Tawouk sandwich was good , bread a little bit thick , fries were good But nuggets were very salty
Worst chicken ever disgusting
Don’t try it at all The mayonnaise was old It was a very bad taste on it. I never and never buy again
The place offers great food and is not to crowded (when I come in) plus it is not smelly even though it is an open kitchen
I still remember the first time I had Malak Al Tawouk. It was love at first bite. Tender and juicy chicken, an explosion of ingredients & flavours, and an extremely filling sandwich. To this day, every single time I have it, it hits like the first time. They really know what they’re doing! As a Lebanese expat, I can’t ask for any better, tastes just like Lebanon. Wish I could give this place a million stars, but since I can’t, I’ll just keep sending everyone I know there. I have yet to meet a single person who’s tried it and didn’t have an extraordinary experience. If you haven’t tried it yet, take my word for it, give it a shot. You’ll fall in love at the first bite too!
Just mind blowing. Love their chicken liver wrap and plate
Delicious and nice. Saj sandwich is a perfect idea. Specially a soujouk saj sandwich 🥰
Excellent food and service! The tawouk sandwiches are fresh, juicy, and full of authentic flavor. Generous portions, great prices, and very friendly staff. One of the best spots for Lebanese street food in Montreal. Highly recommended
