Drove 30 min just to see that it was closed, even though they didn't update the information in Google. Even worse, the person blame me because "I should have called to make a reservation", something that is not indicated in Google either. Good job strange woman... you will succeed in life as you continue blaming others for your deficiencies.

We came for a birthday celebration. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was delicious and exactly what you’d expect. The decor and atmosphere was perfect for a romantic meal and also a party. Recommended

We got catering order from Lylac restaurant last Monday and it was excellent service and delicious food, very generous portions and plus extra plates offered by Lylac and many extras too . Royal treatment . Our guests were amazed. Big thanks to Lylac to make our Labour Day events so memorable and successful. 😊

Very disappointing. We went for dinner expecting to enjoy our meal and the food turned out below average and bland. The "filet mignon" brochettes were not tender at all (I even had to spit out a couple of bites into my napkin because I could not chew the tough meat).

The staff was good, the food delicious and nice music to enjoy and party with friends. The only thing that turned me a bit more down is the amount of food they service for a 75$ price plus tip and tax per person. There was 1-2 pieces per person to eat. I got spoiled and got 3 cubes of meat. It's not that there was not enough food, however, I may have liked to eat more meat and less carbs but I don't have the choice. So you pay a lot and it's whatever you can get.

What an incredible experience! We came all the way from New York, and I can honestly say there isn't a place like Lylac Restaurant even in New York. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome, exceptional hospitality, and outstanding service. Every member of the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel like VIP guests. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of authentic Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail were evident in every bite. The live entertainment was spectacular and created an exciting, elegant atmosphere. The music was fantastic, the energy in the room was contagious, and everyone was enjoying themselves. The crowd was classy, lively, and respectful, making the entire evening even more enjoyable. Lylac offers the complete package: amazing food, impeccable service, beautiful ambiance, outstanding entertainment, and an unforgettable experience. We travel frequently and dine at many excellent restaurants, but this was truly one of the most memorable nights we've had. If you're anywhere near Montreal or Laval, Lylac Restaurant is absolutely worth the visit. We came from New York, and we would gladly make the trip again just to experience this restaurant. Highly recommended!

The grilled skewers and warm pita were the only things tonight that could possibly outshine my outfit. If you spotted me at the game or here at the bar, you saw the best part of the evening. I am easy company and worth your time, so say hello.

Insanely overpriced!! Don't ever get the $60 (deal)—that's a scam! The portions are tiny and not worth $60!!! That should not be more than $30! ​And they are scammers. Why would you force people to pay an 18% tip for no service at all? They came once to check on us, and then, when we were about to leave and asked for takeout boxes, a lady came and started taking the plates with food still on them without even asking us if we wanted to take it. She literally took three untouched pieces of bread and a plate of baba ghanouj that we had barely ate from!! What kind of behavior is this? Will never go back there definitely and that’s how you lose customers and ruin your business!
