I was really disappointed with my experience at Palais Libanais. The prices are way too high for what you get—$6 for a tiny container of potatoes with barely 20 small pieces is just unreasonable. On top of that, I paid cash and didn’t even receive a receipt, which is not okay. Definitely not worth the money.

Placed an order for half BBQ chicken plate, was told it will be ready in 15-20mins, arrived after 20mins, only to see that they didn't even start cooking it yet, so waited another 20mins, while other customers got their food, finally received and the chicken is all burnt as you can see from the photo, the food was for my mom to break her fast during Ramadan and this is what they gave me, after wasting my time and money, will not be returning again, been a customer since they opened and won't recommend them to anyone either after this. This was also not the first time I've had to wait for my food, even though I called for pick up, even then, they didn't start cooking until I showed up, but I gave them another chance, only to receive burnt chicken, very disappointed. 🫤

I think this might be inside an old pizza hut but don't let that fool you. The food was so good, fresh and lots of selection for a good price. The staff were very friendly. A few regulars came in while we were there and were greeted enthusiastically, with big smiles. It made the place feel really welcoming.

Not sure how the reviews are so good. My boyfriend and I ordered from here through uber eats and the food was disgusting. We literally threw the potatoes and rice in the garbage as they tasted old, cold and hard. The sandwich’s were extremely small with BARELY any toppings at all. I don’t get it…do you not take pride in your food? Do you not want repeat customer’s? Shaking our heads…we won’t go back nor recommend.

Good service and nice place. Food wise not so much. At first in your first month it was really good and steady. Now chicken is dry and veggies taste weird.

Spent 80 dollars on two plates. No garlic received. Burned chicken. Chicken was so hard and dry it was not even chewable. Not sure what all the positive reviews are for. Very dissapointed. The images of the food in the reviews do not even come close to what I received. At least they gave me some pita bread to enjoy......

I have visited every place in aylmer and many in Ottawa. This place is amazing. Customer service is always friendly and courteous. Food is second to none. They are consistent and show that they care about their product and brand. It is my new go to place for Middle Eastern cuisine. Thanks !

Hands down the BEST Shawarma. I get there Chicken and Beef plate almost weekly. Food is fresh and oh so delicious!! Always greeted with smiles from the wonderful staff. Eat here you wont be dissapointed!!
