The server is super nice and gave us a lot of recommendations and explained us the ingredients and the process of making it. It is expensive but I think it is worth it.

Amazing food and great friendly service. Highly recommend this hidden gem.
The food and ambience are excellent and unique, but the staff were exceptional. This is the first time I have heard friends who are trying to practice French asked if they would like their service in French or English, as opposed to switching to English as soon as some difficulty or English intonation is noted. The gentleman, whose name unfortunately escapes me, providing service for Saturday brunch did this and absolutely made their day by doing a full run down of the menu in French and continuing to work with them in French, even if it took a little longer. This was a memorably good meal and a place I can wholeheartedly recommend. Brunch and breakfast food itself was great. The menu is quite unique - I can't say I've had a beet based eggs Benedict before, but it was great!
Nice quiet Sunday breakfast, very imaginative presentation, tasty food.
In one word: delightful.
Ate here on Good Friday. Made a reservation over a month ago-visiting from out of town and wanted a nice restaurant for dinner that was close to our hotel, but could also be appropriate for our 8 year old son. Did not disappoint. Shared veal shank and the catch of day (cod). Also got dessert. Son had homemade iced tea and husband and I split wine. Server, Sebastian, was lovely. We were seated in the back room. Front space had bar spots and was more busier. Back was also filled, but also a small space. Definitely want a reso. I comment more on it later, but worked for us as a family since we knew our son would be fine sharing these type of dishes. Plus we ate snacks at hotel lounge ahead of time, so there wasn’t any kid hunger pains. If you bring kids, I’d say bring two max. Since it’s not a kid place, but could work if you know your family. Overall very happy with our choice and money spent. Merci!
Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The banana bread was specially amazing! Prices were fare too.
Absolutely stunning. Came here for breakfast from out west while on a business trip. It was the coziest, warmest little restaurant with amazing staff, incredible food and that beautiful traditional French culture. 50 years this place has been running and the experience shows. I will be back.
A wonderful breakfast. We stumbled upon Le Hobbit on a previous trip to Québec City, but prioritized visiting here when we returned to Québec. The food is delicious and creative. The coffee is also excellent. We found the service to also be very good. Given the quality of everything, the value is absolutely outstanding Highly recommend!
Stumbled across this on a recent visit to the city and was really blown away. One of the best breakfasts I've had in recent memory. Service was excellent as well.
The food was excellent. Service with a smile. Recommendations for Specials and Wine Selection were spot on. I’d go back again if I had the time. A lovely unassuming spot for that special, or not-necessarily-special, dinner.
Great spot for a Valentine’s Day dinner. Our waiter Sebastian was a pleasure to be served by.
very taste food, kids friendly recommend the duck and beef cheek the food are good portions for the price and staff are wonderful
Very good food. The only drawback is that's probably so good, one might need reservation, even for breakfast.
Awesome vibe. Great food (big portions) and drinks!!! Our server, Sebastian was amazing!!!!
Phenomenal food with a great focus on seafood and creative dishes. Started with their panegroni, probably the best negroni riff I’ve ever had. I then had the fried oysters in buffalo sauce and blue cheese cream to start, followed by the fish of the day; walleye, in a sea urchin crème. Outstanding service, strongly recommend.
Came here for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised – it’s pretty solid overall! The highlight was definitely the omelette, made with sea urchin (uni) sauce that gives it this incredible briny, oceanic depth while keeping the eggs super creamy and soft. And the kind of warm, friendly service.
Had a wonderful time–excellent food and wine.
