I had been waiting to try this place for some time so we stopped by Le Chef after a movie since it was very close to the cinema. I was with my mom and we were not hungry, just very curious so we shared a chef's plate. They offer you a shot of the most delicious lentil soup to start and some incredible dates are available on the table too (not sure if the dates are Ramadan only?). The plate gives you the choice between many options which I'm sure are all very tasty, it's also possible to pick only vegetarian/vegan options. We had the mujaddara, spinach, vine leaves and my mom had the syrian chicken. Everything was great, my mom even vouches for the chicken and she doesn't usually like eating chicken at restaurants as it can be meznikh, but le chef's chicken is very clean ! The turkish coffee is nice too, has cardamom and comes in the cutest presentation. The service is very warm and the atmosphere makes you feel very comfortable and safe. All this to say, if you don't know where to eat, if you need a place with veggie options or if you're Lebanese looking to eat familiar food but don't want to have the exact same flavors or dishes you're used to, just go to Le Chef, you'll even get to drink from a briq. :)
