EDIT: Prices have increased a lot, no more free pita chips and the quality has dropped! It genuinely surprises me how much they have increased the prices and decreased the quality in a span of few months OLD REVIEW BELOW: Absolutely incredible! I recently ate at The Chef in Montreal, and it was hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in the city. I tried a variety of dishes like hummus, muhammara, bulgur, Syrian chicken, chicken curry, baba ganoush, stuffed vine leaves, and of course, their fresh bread. Every single item was bursting with flavor and tasted so authentic, just like true Middle Eastern home cooking. The hummus was silky and rich, the muhammara had that perfect smoky and sweet balance and the Syrian chicken was tender and perfectly seasoned. Even the bulgur and vine leaves had so much depth and freshness. You can really tell that everything is made with care and high-quality ingredients. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful food in Montreal, The Chef is a must-visit. I can’t wait to go back and try more!

Now I understand why this restaurant is highly rated, everything is perfect, the owner is a gem. As well as the waitresses, the Chef from Jennen Ezitoun, Constantine is awesome, the food made us speechless, so the atmosphere. If I can give 1000 stars I would do without a single hesitation.

Our first time trying Palestinian food and what an experience it was! We were welcomed with a little "shooter" of lentil soup which was delicious. My son and I shared a mix of things (pardon my spelling please!) houmous, baba ganoush, cheese rolls, rice with lentils, palestinian chicken, a meat ball/potato dish, a pasta casserole dish called Macarona... everything served with tons of fresh pita. The service was great and I would return anytime!

If you are not super hungry, you can go for le pleateau which is for me the perfect lunch size. Really friendly people, I like the ambience and the food was really delicious. Also the homemade lemonade was very good! :)
