This was the best experience ever! We visited from the United States for our mother’s birthday and they made it so special! The tea was delicious and you could tell they cared so much about our experience. The decor is so whimsical and it is perfect for afternoon tea! Would recommend to anyone

My group and I had the most amazing experience here and I will definitely want to come back! The staff are so sweet and they clearly want to help you have the most enjoyable experience possible. They're aware of the many photo ops Lady Porcelaine has, and will help you take all the pictures you want! They talk through all the tea and food with you, which were so delicious! I got the gluten free high tea which was so perfect, I never felt like I was missing out on anything. The sandwiches were perfect, the terrine was lovely, the scones with the cream and in-store made jam were phenomenal, and the desserts were all to die for. I am definitely a tea person and the fact that we got 3 different teas throughout the whole occasion was so exciting! They were all delicious in their own way, so much so that I had to buy some to take home with me. And because we went during Easter weekend, they surprised us with an Easter egg hunt with prizes! They even surprised my friend for her birthday with her own letter to write to herself with a wax stamp and everything! I cannot sing my praises enough for this place, highly recommend!

My best friend and I hopped on the train to Montreal for a girls’ trip… and somehow ended up living our most elegant lives at the most beautiful high tea ever at Lady Porcelaine on rue St. Denis. Gorgeous china, towers of pastries, the most delicious tea, and a room that looked like it belonged in a romantic movie. We laughed, took way too many photos, and completely embraced our fancy tea-drinking era. 10/10 magical experience. If you’re ever in Montreal, this place is an absolute must!! And little tip from us — wear a dress! We didn’t know when we went, but it’s definitely the kind of place where you’ll wish you dressed up a little extra!

I brought my girlfriend and my mom to celebrate woman’s day. It was the BEST experience I could ask for. And it’s truly an experience. From the moment you enter, the service is top notch, and there is thorough explanations about the tea service, the products you try and the good manners around it. They were kind enough to switch certain food assortment so we can have more variety. Literally, every bite was unique. Would 100% recommend for bringing partners, family and friends for a high class British tea experience.

My friends and I came here during my bachelorette party and it was incredible!! The whole team was welcoming, exceptionally kind, and created such a special time for us. They offered to take so many pictures for us in various areas, gave us tips on how to smile and pose, gave us fascinators and a crown, and everyone was so happy! On top of the incredible company, the whole experience was phenomenal! The space is beautifully decorated, the food was delicious, and the tea was amazing!! This is such a unique experience and safe to say the best tea experience my friends and I have ever had! They even had a station set up where the bride could write a letter to her future self and sealed it with a wax seal. This truly was an experience that far exceeded any expectations we had!! I HIGHLY recommend anyone come visit, you will be so happy you came!! Thank you to the whole Lady Porcelaine team for their kindness in making this day so special!! :)

What a truly wonderful and memorable experience I had at Lady Porcelaine. I shared this beautiful tea experience with my mom, and it made for such a special day together. From the moment we arrived, everything was simply perfect. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting. The sandwiches, scones, and pastries were all beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. The scones were especially delightful — fresh, light, and served with generous portions of cream and jam. It was such a relaxing and indulgent afternoon, and we left feeling thoroughly spoiled. I would highly recommend this afternoon tea to anyone looking for a special treat or wants to celebrate a special occasion.

Went here with some friends for my birthday and had a grand old time! (I won’t spoil anything, but you do get a bit of special treatment if it’s your birthday.) So much thought put into everything, super friendly service, and the vegan platter had lots of tasty treats. A great experience for anyone who has a healthy sense of whimsy and fun :)

We received a gracious welcome. The food was exceptional from savoury to sweet: everything was fresh, the pastries were expertly made, the jam was homemade, and they served proper Devonshire cream. Even the teas were distinctive, with handmade blends thoughtfully paired to each course. We did not take part in the theatrics on offer, but it was clear that other guests were thoroughly enjoying themselves — dressing up, embracing the experience and having photographs taken.

UNHINGED. From the moment we walked in, we were lowkey bullied by the restaurant's owner, a self styled pastel girl-boss with a brigerton-coded control kink. After being scolded pretty intensely to clean our shoes, we were handed out tea hats (mandatory), then whisked away to do a photoshoot (also mandatory). We were instructed to use a china bell to ring, and were refused service if we didn't. The tea that we were served (without having been given any choice btw) was a pot of blue herbal mix that sort of felt like drinking warm, musky Gatorade, followed by a second pot of a very mid earl grey (no milk, don't even ask). The sandwiches, scones, etc were quite nice, but not giving in quality/freshness. This is because, as our hostess described to us IN DETAIL, they order in every item from other suppliers. While she obviously thinks these partnerships are a huge flex, they really can't compare to fresh food made in-house. With the strange service and lack luster beverage / food, the value of the experience should be in the 'immersive' atmosphere, but what looks cute and extra in photos is nothing short of DERANGED in person. Hundreds of cheap ribbons and dollar store fake flowers are literally GLUE GUNNED all over the walls, light fixtures, even the air conditioner. The cold overhead lighting (bright enough to light up a crime scene), and cheap table linen (microplastics!) were not selling luxury. The website promises to 'suspend time in a porcelain universe of well-being in pastel shades' (red flag in retrospect) but in reality it feels like the result of an adderall-fulled temu-bender. I can get behind a weird experience, so I wasn't even mad at all this until I paid my bill. Tax and tip included, I spent Seventy. Seven. Dollars. at this establishment. For just myself. That is the price of an actually good high end tea, like the Queen Elizabeth or The Ritz Carleton; where the narcissist vibes owner is not using you as a sim in her bridgerton inspired vanity project. Unless paying a substantial sum to be talked down to in cringe victorian cosplay is your thing, I'd recommend passing on Lady porcelaine.
