We came here twice for lunch while skiing at the mountain. It was the only place with not to bad of a line and we could watch the game on TV we wanted to see. The first day we went itbwas really packed the server seemed a bit overwhelmed but was doing her best to ma age going back and forth we got some drinks and for food I got salmon. The salmon was really good this day. The next day it was a little bit emptier. I got the salmon again as I enjoyed it the first day. However this time it came with a cup of salad which I did not get the first day. Talking with the server he said yes its suppose to come with salad and he sorry they missed it yesterday but now I know. However the salmon didnt tast that good. It taste like it wasn't fresh and completely different from what I had the previous day. Also overall service was just sub par ( I may be bias comparing to American standards) but im use to where once you get your food servers come and check in on you to see how it is and if you need anything else. These servers barely spoke. They take your order then they never come back to your table.

Right off the ski lift. Same owner as Le Shak adjacent seems to rely on their location and unique design, staff seem busy and indifferent will continue to be busy despite not having clean floors or beverages not supplied by common distributors. Super fun unique nachos but left not feeling got value, think I should have saved my $ for further off lifts.
Staff were doing their best in busy time. Onion soup disappointed me, I even asked to heat one more time! But still not what expected…the vibe inside and outside is great.
It is what it is...good lunch spot or acres ski spot based at the bottom of Tremblant. We love the French onion soup in the bread bowl and the on tap beers. The soup is perfect and even the bowl is scrumptious.
We hadn't been in this restaurant in over 5 years and were happy that it was as fantastic as always. Martinis, Beet appetizer, Grilled Octopus and the best 16oz Rib Steak ever!
Wuz open when everyother kitchen waz closed
Restaurant steak house above the bistro Great steak, beautifully cooked Good portion size Very slow and lot of wait before the food arrived Service was average Very loud music, nightclub/rave sort off… too bad Reservation required
Friday night dinner… we were greeted by the most aggressive waiter- hand in our faces and telling us to back up while we wait for the Maitre D. Luckily the Maitre D made up for the greeting and gave us a nice table with a very sweet waitress. The food was good but pricey-a 3oz tartar is 22$ while the 6oz is 47$?!? Ummmm can someone explain that to me? The music was a vibe though… at least that changed my mood from when I first walked in.
Fun pub experience. Everyone enjoyed their plates. Nachos had a nice bbq sauce, Philly cheese was satisfying.
Worst food I have had at Mt Tremblant. Do not go there, food is not hot, looks like its prepared in advance and served cold. Worst burger, worst chicken sandwich.
Just went for drinks, took about 30 minutes to order, 45 minutes from when we sat down. Drinks were small, watered down, and no one thought they tasted good.
Great meal and wine— the steak for two was fantastic!
This was our best meal during our short stay in Tremblant. Fantastic experience, will absolutely return on our next visit.
I visited La Forge Bistro Bar & Grill in Mont Tremblant on Friday night, February 6th for the very first time, and it turned into an experience I’ll never forget, in the very best way. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming, warm, and cozy, perfect for a relaxed evening after a day in the village. Our server was absolutely lovely, attentive without hovering, friendly, and knowledgeable. I ordered the Caesar salad, which was excellent, fresh, crisp, and full of flavor. The whole dining experience was exactly what you hope for at a resort bistro. What truly sets La Forge apart, though, is the exceptional integrity and care shown by their staff. Unbeknownst to me, when I left the restaurant, I accidentally left my purse hanging on the back of my chair. I didn’t even realize it was missing until I received a phone call from José letting me know they had found it. She reassured me immediately that my purse was safe and secured in the manager’s office. From there, Sam took charge of helping get it back to me in Ottawa. He carefully packaged it, used the FedEx label I provided, and communicated with me throughout the entire process. His professionalism, kindness, and proactive updates turned what could have been a nerve‑wracking, stressful situation into something I felt completely at ease with. Within 24 hours, my purse arrived back in my hands, thanks entirely to their prompt attention and genuine care. La Forge isn’t just a place with great food and a warm atmosphere, it’s a place with remarkable people who go above and beyond for their guests. Their honesty, professionalism, and compassion left a lasting impression on me, and I’m truly grateful. I will absolutely return and highly recommend La Forge to anyone visiting Mont Tremblant, not only for the meal, but for the truly exceptional service.
Late night winter . So good .
One of the most tender steaks I’ve had in my life and I’m a steak snob! Service was insanely quick, friendly, and efficient. If I had to think of a complaint, maybe the music is a touch too loud? But will be dreaming of the steak for days!
Horrible. Never had a piece of meat before with such an insane amount of salt.
Service wasn't good. I ordered an old fashion. It was lacking syrup but Inwasnt able to tell the waitress because she barely came by. We wanted to try something else for food and I had to ask another waiter who was very nice. Runners were also very nice. Food was eh. We ordered poutin and it was so so. I did like the music. And the fire in the outside seating.
The food was amazing and the music was awesome.
The resto is conveniently located at the base of the mountain which makes it a convenient place once your done on the slopes. There was a lineup at the end of the afternoon but we didn't have to wait long. We sat outside under the heat lamps and it was quite warm. Our waiter Martin was so friendly and very good at his job. We ordered smash burgers with truffle Parmesan fries which were amazing. We finished with a homemade pudding chomeur, one of the best I've had. My wife had a bloody Caesar which she enjoyed. In terms of price, you are in the Tremblant village and with today's prices in general, it's right in line with what I would expect to pay. I would definitely go back because the service and food was very good.
Don’t come if u don’t speak French or if ur not Caucasian. They will ignore you
Great atmosphere. Martin was a very friendly and professional waiter. Great spot for a lunch during a heavy day of skiing!
2025 update: The food took far too long, my duck was served cold, one of the steaks was not cooked to order and far too rare to eat. My son had a very good steak. Overall it was inconsistent and the servers seemed scattered and did not check on us very often. It was definitely subpar compared to our prior visit. ————— 2023: We were at La Forge Restaurant over the Christmas holiday and it excellent with one small exception. The grilled octopus appetizer was quite tough. But the rest of the meal: the New York strip, filet mignon, grilled asparagus, fabulous cocktails, were all amazing! The service was very good, attentive and pleasant. The view of the slopes from our table was nice with the full moon, and the inside of the upstairs is decorated very well. It was an enjoyable meal! I would highly recommend.
Delicious food! The meat was amazing, service was great. The lobster mac and cheese is a must!
Nearly empty restaurant. A group of white customers ahead of us was seated in a great spot. When it was our turn, we were told to go upstairs even though first-floor tables were open, and we were in ski boots. After we objected, we were pushed to a poor table by the entrance while others were seated in the main dining area. The treatment was clearly discriminatory and racist. We walked out and ate next door. Avoid this place. There’s a reason this place has so many bad reviews despite a prime location.
